I love Nora Roberts books. They are such a fun read. Any other fans of her? What's your favorite(s) by her?

Nora Roberts is not one of the authors I read. What do you like about her writing, vjenkins86? And which is your favorite book? Friends have told me that she is a good author for 'beach reads', but I have other go-to authors for my beach reads so I haven't picked one up by her yet. Would you recommend one as the first I should read when I do?

Hi makingpots. I like Nora's writing style and how she builds the suspence in a story. I love several of her stories but if I had to recommend a few they would be The Villa, Carolina Moon and Sanctuary. The first Nora Roberts book I read, though, was Homeport. Hopefully you enjoy one of her books if you do decide to try her out.

I'm not a HUGE fan of Nora Roberts, but I have read quite a lot, and they are definitely a fun read. They're great to read as a study break at uni, because they're not the sort of books that take ages to get back into if you're stopping and starting.
I'm currently reading Key Of Knowledge by her, the second in the Key Series. It's pretty good - I definitely prefer the sort of supernatural/paranormal ones by her than say the Wedding ones. My favourite series of hers would probably have to be the Morrigan's Cross ones. I also really enjoyed the Sign of Seven series, but I've only read two out of three of those so far, as I read them before the third one came out and haven't yet gone back and re-read them.
Which are your favourites?

I love Nora Roberts also! After I read a book of hers I always say it's the best~she makes a liar out of me~lol! There are just so many of her books that I love. I truly enjoyed her "Sign of Seven" and "The Circle" trilogies. They were scary, suspenseful, and romantic all at the same time. "Black Hills", "Homeport", and "Rivers End" are a few more I really liked. Honestly, I haven't read a book by her that I haven't enjoyed!

Nora Roberts's books are perfect beach reads! I don't have a favorite really, I enjoy them all because they are quick reads. I am distracted by a 3 yr old these days so I don't have the time to focus on a deeper book.

I don't read often, her books have lots of suspense I believe and I am scared of those. I always see my sister checking out Nora Robert books though. I am a fan of romance mostly :)
