Yes, PS3 is somewhat costly, it worth twenty to twenty five thousand, which is the market price. If you love gaming, high graphics game, then you can undoubtedly afford a PS3 which is the best for playing games. But in having a PC, you can not only play games, but also you can do so many things, like surfing net, downloading etc. I can give you an advice that if you can spend more money, you can buy a new PC and also the best graphics card recently launched in market to play games. But if you are an extreme game lover, you can buy a PSP, here also you can play high graphics game. Now it is your own personal choice to make.

It really depends on a lot of factors. First off, do you play plenty of shooters or RTS games? If yes than I wold probably stick to the PC due to the mouse and keyboard controls. Thats basically the only reason why I prefer the PC over the ps3.
Unless if you care for graphics.. (o.0)
Not to mention that you won't be able to get certain games on either PC or console. The ps3 has some great games but so does the PC. So basically the question would be. Which control scheme do you prefer and which (PC or Ps3) has the better game library?
The ps3 is a nice console mostly now that its awfully cheap compared to its launch price. And you don't really have to worry about video drivers or anything like that. The least you have to do is to install a patch for a game or a OS update but besides that.. it works just fine.
