I was wondering, with the computer being the most common thing in the world nowadays, what are most people's hobbies. I remembered during those days, my hobbies were flying kites, collecting stamps, watching movies and some others. Now those hobbies are long forgotten. Is it same with you guys. Are you still enjoy your hobby?
For me I find it quite hard to collect stamps now, because, people are sending mails using emails now, and no stamps that i can collect .... LOL

My hobbies are reading, knitting ,drawing and gardening .
I love computing but there are other things in life.
I don't do much drawing at the moment because I fall in and out of the interest.
Knitting too is something that waxes and wanes.
Reading is still a favorite,we have the library and so it isn't expensive.
I used to collect stamps when I was a child but it was a bit of a waste as I didn't realize you should use stamp hinges and so I used to glue my stamps into the book and mess them up.

Good for you that you enjoyed some hobbies, as for me nowadays, i tend to sit in front of my computers, and doing blogs, surfing sites and sometimes, playing games, and sometimes chatting with my friends. I feel that my days doing all the classical hobbies are gone. I don't enjoy reading books or novels anymore, but enjoy reading blogs and internet article. I bought a book but never actually finish reading it. LOL

Well it is still reading.
I always used to say to my son , if he was sitting for half an hour reading a book noone would be upset so why should they if he reads the internet for half an hour.
I think we have to move with the times.
When I got my first computer it was mainly to keep up with technology, little did I know it would lead to so many other interests.

everything has a good and a bad side, but you are right to a certain extent since nowdays people are so much attached to their laptops and pc's that they don't have time for anything else.life has to go on with changes but we should look beyond and try to enjoy small moments and hobbies that we used to have in our lives.

I used to collect stamps when I was younger, I have always loved photography, and now it is incorporated into my number one hobby, scrapbooking. I am a scrap-aholic lol. My daughter and I have attended several weekend scrapbook retreats, and can't pass by a new scrapbooking store. I love saving pictures and memories by doing scrapbook layouts rather than just sticking them into a photo album
