Well the neighbor has parties like all the time and they always have the music loud and keep it going almost all night long and I don't like this because I can't sleep and the rest of my family can't sleep. We don't know what we should do no one in our neighbor hood has done anything yet.
So what to do when neighbor has music too loud at night???

Sorry to hear the you have to be experiencing this. I know how annoying this can be!
If you reside in a house, simply call bylaw enforcement during the day time business hours and ask for noise control. When you speak with someone who handles the noise bylaws, tell them your situation and ask what action can be taken.
I wouldn't approach those who are having the parties.
Often times, the police can enforce the noise bylaw so this is likely an option. When the noise is going on, after hours (usually 11p.m. but ask a bylaw officer what the quiet time hours are)simply call your local police. If they are able to enforce the bylaw, they will attend the house and give a warning. If the neighbors don't comply, the police could fine them. After once or twice this can get rather expensive so the noise would likely begin to cease.
Since summer is coming, I would get a handle on this now since people like to gather on summer evenings. This could make their parites go much later and more occasional.
If you live in a condo, apartment or other, that is a rental unit, contact your landlord and or the residential tenancy as it is your right to be able to enjoy the peacefulness of your own home, at any hour!
Don't hesitate to get in touch with the bylaw enforcement office though because there you will get the best advice on what steps to take in order to stop this disturbance.

Sometimes talking face to face with those causing a disturbance can lead to more trouble than what it is worth. Simply calling your local bylaw office will give you the information you need to understand how to deal with this sort of problem. I hope that the problem has ceased. Should it occur again, don't hesitate to take action. Wishing you well.

I think the best would be if you could speak to them. I mean tell them that you have to go to work, to school... whatever. And you must rest and sleep. If they don`t hear you, well, then you should call the police. :)

First, ask nicely if they can tone down the partying so you can sleep at night. If they don't listen to you, then you can complain to the authorities about loud disturbances in the middle of the night. If the cops can't do anything about it, or they still continue after being busted for it... then just run over all stealth-like and cut their power. If all else fails, ear plugs.

Gone are the days when people valued their neighbours and listened to complaints and acted on them. That is history now. They would rather have their music blasted and bang their door at the one who complains. The best thing for you would be to put ear plugs. That is what I do!
