So, I recently gave in and joined eHarmony. My cousin met her now-husband there, and my aunt also used a match-making service to meet her fiance, but I still have to wonder if this sort of system can possibly work for everyone. Has anyone ever used a match-making service, and did it work for you or was it a waste of time?

I can personally tell you that joining these match-making services are definitely the real deal. About 3 years ago I was curious, so I joined a match-making service. It was my first time and I was really nervous, but I feel that it was a great decision on my part. I ended up meeting a wonderful woman that had a lot of common interests with me. 6 months later we separated only because she was to far away. Another country to be exact. Take it from me, they do work, but you just have to find someone that you have a lot of common interests with. And try to find somebody in the same country. lol.

I've tried some dating site like plentyoffish.com but have had no luck whatsoever. Thats not to say it won't work for you as I know that it has worked for others in the past. I know some couples who are very happy together that met on an online dating site so I don't knock it...just saying thus far...hasn't worked for me.

Match making services are a great idea, A lot of people dismiss the idea of meeting someone online and falling in Love but I think that it's a great way of meeting new people and you could find someone in your area that suits you down to a tee. There are more and more success stories coming out everyday from these sites.
