It's dangerous to this because it can leave you deaf and you won't be able to hear to good. My friend just loves to put up his music loud when hes listening to his ipod which is dangerous to him and I don't know how to stop him from doing this. I'm trying to stop him from becoming deaf I am just concerned for him.
Who puts their music too loud when their listening to their ipod??? This is really dangerous to do.

I don't do that and I agree that it can harm your ear and later makes you go deaf. If I have my iPod on me the volume would be at the middle portion of the bar. Too much of everything is not good I'd say. It is not your fault he/she is going the wrong direction in life.

I listen to my music loud as well and it does not bother me. I know the music is not as many decibles as when we go to the shooting range so I figure my earing should be safe. I do wear ear protection when we go shooting and sometimes I put my ipod on as well to drown out the shots even more.

I dont but I see people do it all the time. i have my ipod just loud enough to hear the music and lyrics. The volume is about 1/3 of the way up, maybe a little less. I see people walking around my college campus and I can hear the song they are listening to walking a couple feet behind them and even hear the lyrics. Its crazy and I would hate to have their hearing when they are older.

Like your friend, I always turn up the volume when I am listening to my Ipod. The bass sound better at a higher volume, that's what I personally think. Yes, I know it is not good for our hearing, but so far I have not been affected. However, when listening to audio books or relaxation music, I will turn the volume down, because the effect will be better than playing them on full blast.

I seldom do the same thing. It depends on the song I'm playing. If its rock, I lower the volume but if its quite senti, I higher the volume. Im fond of listening music. It doesn't matter for me whether it is too loud or not even I know that's not good if too loud.. All I want is to listen. Im satisfied to that.
