I think you just have to keep throwing stuff at the wall, until something sticks. It's somewhat like the old saying "If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll keep getting what you're getting." That's why we have to try something new at each opportunity that we find. And you most certainly have to find these opportunities, especially in today's economy. But, sometimes we get lucky and they just sneak up on us.
So, just keep your eyes and ears open. Your life could be changed tomorrow. Good luck to you samgrg!

Sometimes I get frosted by the situation here in hong kong. There are lots of job opportunities but those jobs are for experienced and highly educated people and most jobs require fluent written and spoken cantonese and manderine but I am not chinese. yes there are jobs but these jobs don't pay enough to live in this expensive city.Any ways as you said I am throwing stuff at the wall hoping someday some thing will happen.KYKIDD thank you very much for the encouraging response.
