Is the most expensive ice cream best? Which brand do you like most?

I've seen many friends talk about the expensive ice cream, such as Haagen-Dazs, Movenpick, Ben & Jerry's, etc. I do love Haagen-Dazs, but in the mean time, I also enjoy the Wall's I can buy at any supermarket. I'm wondering what makes ice cream high quality. Is there any ice cream brand you like most? And Why? And if you have any amazing secret receipe, please share with us.

My favorite is Edy's slow churned. But I eat many different brands whatever is on sale.. so far the only brand I know I will not buy is HOOD. It always tastes nasty to me.. leaves an aftertaste in mouth. I refuse to buy it- even if it is on sale.

I don't think the most expensive ice cream is the best.But then, I have not had the opportunity to taste that many varieties.I usually have ice creams from the Baskin Robbins .I like their coffee ,rum punch and chocolate chip ice creams.

my vote goes to haagen-dazs. but that brand is hard to find here at our place. you have to travel far to get that brand of ice cream. in our supermarket there are two local ice cream brands that you can buy. its magnolia and selecta. it both taste good and it both has superb flavor that cater to the taste of Filipino people. but my wife makes our own version of ice cream. avocado flavor is my favorite.

Not really. The best Ice Cream is an ice cream that has really good taste and has good value. If it's too expensive.. I think it's not the best at all. My fav. brand is Walts...
