Greenday is the most influential band of this generation. I'm not really a big fan of the band when it comes to technicality. You won't even see Billie Joe shred a really amazing solo. Surely there are other band a lot better than them but it seems that it is not the measure of greatness. Greenday has able to bring a whole new era of rock and roll that will last for generations. Those powerchords and political lyrics simply hit the right spot.

To tell the truth,I don`t pay much attention to Greenday as I don`t like rock and roll very much. But I admit that Greenday is really good. Not only because they can performance some songs that sounds good to me who don`t like the style of rock and roll ,but also for they are leading the development of rock and roll in a way.
