i have seen one and i felt like throwing up. i saw people being decapitated because the motorcycle he was riding was under a trail truck. I went home feeling sick. It was very pitiful. It's really different from movies. It's not the same when you watch people got killed in front of your naked eye ...have you watched a real accident on roads?

Fortunately, I have only seen accidents after they have happened.
I wouldn't like to see an accident that would happen in front of me since I would be in total shock on how to react or would I even be able to react properly, as to help those who got hurt.. I might just be just standing and looking

I haven’t experienced to see an accident on the road. But I received a forwarded message on my mail about a picture of accident on the road. The incident happened in Ayala Ave Makati. A mas was riding a motorcycle and was hit by a ten wheeler truck or a bus, I forget what vehicle hit the person. The picture was very real. The body of that person was decapitated. The only left whole in the part of his body was his one leg. Some of his part were left grinded. All I can saw in the picture was blood. His brain was also on the road and some of his clothes were torn. That was really gross. That was like in the movie, but I can’t believe it can happen in real life.

I saw a car slide into a brick wall once. The sparks flew all around and the car fishtailed around. But I did not see anyone get hurt. Another time I saw a semi truck jackknifed in a ditch. Sorry you had to witness such an awful thing.

That is horrible. Watching movies already is unbearable but real life I don't know if I can get the image out of my mind. I think that I might think about it for awhile for it to completely be gone. I have not seen a real accident but the result after the ambulance comes. I have not seen any bodies in real life but only at a wake.

I have seen several accidents on the roadways, and I have seen people get hurt or killed. I was in law enforcement, and I can tell you that it is not something that you will ever get used to seeing. Unfortunately, in that line of work, you see it all the time. That is certainly not part of the job that I miss...

I haven't seen anything so graphic as you have seen in the accident, but I have seen a stream of blood running down the road from a traffic accident. I had to stop in a line of traffic, and got out wondering what was holding us up. Then I saw the blood and a car further up the road on its roof. I didn't walk any further, but returned to my car, turned around and drove another way home. It is not something that I would volunteer to go and see. There are some people I have talked to that have said they would have gone to see what had happened.. I don't think they would have been too happy about it though. _Derek

Fortunately I haven't seen an accident which involved fatalities, I have seen bad accidents though. When people watch movies and see the people acting in the movies, they don't get the realization that this is just play acting and the person comes back in the next film ALIVE! It's totally different from real life where when you have an accident and are killed you don't come back to life. It's a horrible reality check!
I am so sorry that you had to witness such a brutal and horrible accident. You'll carry that memory with you for years. But, in a way it will change your perspective on life, and you will be a bit more careful when you drive, you'll tell your loved ones that you love them more often, and you'll think more before you do something before you do something that might hurt someone else. I just wish the world could see that rather than become the craziness it is today.
Please take care of you, and I send you hugs and sympathy for your having witnessed the accident...it was truly horrible to see.

I have seen an accident twice when I was on the way to school. It's a terrible accident because the driver is really suffer a broken leg and those rescuer must cut all the iron that being hit on the drivers leg...
I am scare on that time because the bus that I have been riding was being involve in that accident. I am shock on the event but I thank because all the passenger in the have no casualties and harm..only the drivers of the truck and his fellow being fatally wounded and must bring to the near hospital for immediate treatment...

Kinda of. I was riding an above ground subway car when a motorcyclist tried to beat the light and cut in front of the railway car and didn't make it. He skidded and flipped off the bike and part of him hit the subway car driver's window before falling and being partially run over.
Now I was luckier than you in that all I did was hear it and feel it! I heard the motorcycle speed up as it had one of the whiney engines and the thumping on the front windshield hit, Then there was the odd lurching of the subway car. But I was about halfway back in a very full car so saw nothing. I am very grateful that I didn't.
I have seen other car accidents only well after they happened, seen the cars and blood but more impersonal since that looks movie ish. All the people and ambulances were already gone and they were getting ready to tow them out. Not nearly the same as what you experienced. Be Well..

Hi Flagella,
Since i used to commute and travel almost everyday... in and out of town trips--i was able to witness lots of road accidents. it's quite scary, it sometimes haunt me in my sleep but i just offer a prayer. i pray for those who were in the accident. i pitied them but i can't do anything.
By the way i too experienced a road accident when i was still a kid. i was riding the tricyle when suddenly we ran out of control (problem with the brake) and we went straight to the canal. the canal was quite deep then. thanks god that i only have bruises compared to some of the passengers who had serious injuries.

I've never seen anyone get killed, but I've been hit three times by people who weren't paying attention to their driving. They were just minor dents though. The one accident that I missed that could still give me nightmares is when I was driving on route 2 in Ohio. It was a one lane highway. This lady in a small white car drove into the other lane and passed me and cut in front of me. I didn't get mad at her. She kept driving fast on down the road and was soon out of sight. When I entered the outskirts of Toledo, I saw cars on the side of the road and men running to help. Then I saw her car. It was squashed under a truck.

I've seen several accidents which were fatal. One was right by my house and I was in 11th grade. A kid riding his bicycle to the school was decapitated. He got hit by 3 different cars and everything was really too raunchy for me to get into details. It was a very sad day for everyone. The saddest part is when I went to work at the Pharmacy. I used to work as a Pharmacy Technician and his parents came in for depression medicine...very sad. It was their only son.

I was in an 18-wheeler, driving through the snow storm of 2007, when we came around a small hill and found a small SUV in the median, which obviously had been flipped over a few dozen times. The driver had apparently been ejected, and he was laying on the road face down, not moving.
Not a pretty sight.

I've never actually seen a car accident happen, I always end up viewing the aftermath while sitting in the line of cars that is being redirected to the detour route.
