Why it has been a standard for using 'pig's' pic as an indication for "SAVINGS"?

[b][i]Hi all, Why is that all the advertisements relating to investments & savings have logo of "PIG"?? Is that symbolizes any true logic ?????[/i][/b]

It is probably because of the piggy banks, that are shaped like pigs. That's my guess anyway!

In the US, people save their coins in "piggy banks". These are Ceramic or glass jars often shaped like a pig and therefore called a piggy bank.
