Can anyone Help?

Well, I've been having a lot of trouble trying to set up banners on my profile.... I have done this on my blog and it works fine. When I take the same steps to copy and paste into the HTML sortie, click save changes....and it all disappears. Am I violating a rule or something? I'm sorry to bring up what might seem like a dumb question to some people but, I don't really know what else to do but ask the kind folks here at MyLot for any helpful advice. Thanks :-) Tidwell
