When a fire broke out, people always called for help and eventually the fire engine came and started to help. The firemen always will experience life risking situation and they always need to know how to solve each crisis. They have to use different kinds of equippment such as axe, hammer, saw, and of course water in different situation.I really think that being a fireman is a high risk career and look at the firemen from thetwo towers of the world trade centre a few years ago,you will know what I mean. But still, I heard of some firemen in some countries are not professional at all. These kind of firemen are the bda guys because they won't do a thing unless people pay them .But I think that most of them are good and just some of them are not good, that's all. What do you think?Did you have any experience with the help by some firemen before?

yes,for sure we need to respect those loyal civilian and they really risk their life for others safty. But I still remember there were some poor firemen many years ago. They never tried to do anything only when they got some money from those who need help in the fire environment. In fact, they wouldn't even turn on the water if you had no money to satisflied their greedy and corruption need.I knoiw that it still happen in some area of mainland China and some other countries (undeveloped or those political immature countries). But in the well developed countries, things like that will be much better.I hope that firemen can always do their job and get respected and receive positive comment for what they do all the times.

Where I live they are highly respected. Many of them do it as volunteers and don't get paid anything to do it. They are some of the most respected people as they save lives and stop damage because they want to, not because the money is making them want to.

I believe that there are a lot of reasons why we should respect firemen. Not only are they there to help us in times of crisis involving our own homes, property, and person. They are also very helpful in society in general. Here they run a toy drive every year around the Christmas season to make sure that every child receives a gift under the tree on Christmas morning. In addition to that, they do also frequently put their lives on the line for the good of the general residents. I've not heard of any cases of firefighter corruption around here.

I don't have any experience yet but I agree with you that they should be respected. I live in a tropical country and fires occur here almost often. I see on TV how fires devastate properties and live of people. It's like losing everything when you experience fire. THat's why firemen should be given recognition because they really help a lot. Without them, losses might increase and casualties might also be uncontrollable.
