I'd been working in manufacturing line for a very long time. It's never been my favorite job from the beginning. For some time now,i found something which interest me a lot in selling music merchandise and so on.I'd been doing it part time in ebay and other online web. What i really wanted to do now is to have my own business/shop to sell what i like best.
Problem is ,it's so hard so make that change even though i got some contacts now.Does anyone having the same problem? Is this some sort of "mid-life crisis" as termed by Carl Jung?

Good luck with your business dreams! I don't think it's a mid life crisis. I think change is healthy, especially if it's a way to become self employed. I've been working as a receptionist in a doctor's office for the last five years and had been considering getting my medical transcription certificate because it would all go hand in hand in the work place. Lately though, I've had a change of heart due to the kind of treatment and unprofessionalism that I've seen in the medical field. I no longer want to do medical transcription or work in the office. Like you, I would really love to be self employed. I feel that is the only way I will be happy.

hi lindsiko,
Some people said life's fair while some it's not.I don't know which is true but if we hold on to our dreams (no matter if it doesn't make much sense right now),someday we can do the things we love and at the same time earn a living from it.So i wished you luck also.bye
