Canes Win Again!!!

My boys won again last night. Obviously Eric Staal is being the leader we have needed for the past two years!!! Go Canes!!! I don't know about you guys but the Hurricanes are always running some kind of contests. Well, last night I decided to enter a contest. You had to text a number. After the second period I get this call on my cell phone and it is a guy telling me I had won the prize!!! I won a hockey stick signed by the team!! Can you believe it? I never win anything. To top it all off, my kid is playing in South Carolina this weekend and they won their game last night 7-1. I don't usually have such good days but I sure do appreciate it when I do!! :)

this has happened the last three games. I sit down to watch , the other team scores first I turn off the game and I don't watch and they win. So here I am watching Rebecca instead of the game.

I maybe late, but still I want to congratulate you on your suddenly-hot canes. I guess the no-pressure, and the new captain is really helping the team play smart and loose hockey. I would also like to congratulate you M on winning a hockey stick! Do you already know who's stick it is? Or who's going to sign it? Is the whole team going to sign it? Where is it going to be displayed in your house?

The whole team has signed it. I have a room in my house that is the "Hockey Room". That is where I put up all my signed posters, pucks, photos, etc. I was going to give it to my kid but he said that he didn't want it. He wanted me to have it to put up in the "Hockey Room"! Hurricanes are suppose to call me in the morning to arrange a time for me to go and pick it up! Can't wait!!

That is very exciting! I would love to have a hockey room. Unfortunately, I'd have to wait until the kids move out of the house. Let see, the youngest is 3 now, so that is how many years to go? I hope the canucks would have won the cup by then.
