weirdest reason to told your teacher for being late

way back my highschool years, I could still remember a funny and classic incident inside a prefect of discipline's office. A student was ask why she was late... Looks very uncomfortable she suddenly said " ma'am because I have a kidney" The prefect just looked at the student and told her that everybody have a kidney... the student started to tremble and said "I mean I have a kidney problem". the prefect told her to go to the clinic and let the school doctor check her.. there was a moment of silence and suddenly the student said.. "Okay you won ma'am.. I woke up late......

Wow... hadn't heard anything along those lines before. It sounds like one of the lamest excuses ever. "I have a kidney"? I mean, come on. Didn't you learn in elementary school that every healthy person has at least one kidney and most of them have two? Although it does remind me of the time one of my teachers handed me back one of my papers all messed up and looking like it had been chewed on. It had a note on it that said, "I'm sorry. My dog ate your homework."

Hahaha, how old was this? For some reason, sometimes parents can just see right through you, even if it's a good and reasonable excuse. The worst is when they know what you did or whatever and still asking. If you lie, they know and you're in bigger trouble :P
