welcome to the wonderful world of mylot kyla. i agree with you that facebook chat sucks. it is very hard to communicate that the message even fluctuate and repeats over the process of chatting. but there are other things that facebook dont master yet. the games sometimes fluctuate too i guess they are still in the process to make it perfect. the volume of users are large.

facebook is intending to charge us? well that would not be fun anymore. i wont be visiting facebook if they will charge us. i can chat on other site for free so why do i have to pay facebook. i am there for my relatives invited me to join in. charging us is not fun at all

Hi se7enthbird and thank you for the warm gretting. I am new over here yet this place is so wonderful, I really get excited everytime I log in mylot.
Anyway, yeah it fluctuates here too. There were times the games just hanged and it was horrible, but then again was you said, the volume of users are large. I'm guessing it'll probably take a few more years (if we are lucky that is) for facebook to get things working properly.
However, if facebook has any intend to charge us every month, they better get the facebook chat working.

yesh! i agree with you KylaDilla. they sometimes disconnect us in a blink of an eye, sometimes it is frustration the message we sent didn't get through even after i tried it a couple of times. but i am not a very big fan of Facebook then it doesn't really matter, i prefer MSN messenger.

Yeah the chat application is really badly built. These days I start to realise even the "recent actity" wall at our homepage is displaying things incorrectly. I had to refresh it a few times before it showed my friends latest updates.

I am a Facebook member since last year but I hardly use the chat feature. I usually play there then leave. Sooner, the need for chatting arises but I am still new in it. I don't observe the things you observe. As I passed by this discussion, only here and now that I realized these matter. Anyway, when chatting, I prefer yahoo messenger.

Hi 20021114476, the chat feature is useful to chat with friends on facebook that u don't have on msn or yahoo. I prefer msn. However, yahoo messenger is an awesome chat application.

I love the idea and when it works its great. Unfortuanately, I have only had it work for me once or twice and then the chatting becomes a hassle and we resort to calling or texting each other to get our point across in a timely fasion. It freezes too much or takes too long to send a simple message, nevermind the long ones. If they ever fix it I would be willing to try it again.

Yup I love the idea too but if only it worked properly.. Sometimes it is just move convinient chatting with people on facebook because some people just don't like logging on msn or yahoo messenger. I ended up calling my friend directly because both of us were extremely frustrated with the the chat system.
Yeah, I'll be happy to try it again if they fix it. Hope they do, its a convenient application, but only if it works.

yes I agree.I've been chat on facebook but not good for the connection.sometimes not connect if i chat with my friend.i dont know what the problem that can make facebook like that,as we know facebook is number one social network site in the world,i hope facebook can improved their chat fitur.Good Luck

Yes, I agree. I've been on there several time trying to chat to a friend, or getting to know a new friend, and it all of a sudden kicks one of us off, claiming we are offline or whatever. It was so bad one night that a friend & I went to emailing each other on Facebook & it was just as fast, and we didn't have to worry about chat disconnecting us.

Me too! When I am online, my friends see me as offline! And when I want to initiate a chat, sudenly my friend becomes offline. Pfft!
My friend and I resorted to facebook mail. It was much better :)

I don't really love the facebook chat. I find the chat box is too small and then sometimes a person that you want to chat to takes awhile to load. I sometimes use facebook chat because I have a few contacts I speack to, but nowadays the chat seen does not thrill me like it use to.

I agree with you. The only reason I use it anyway is to chat with a few school friends that I dont wish to add on msn. The chat box is extremely small.
