It's been weeks since the incident, but I still cannot help by getting upset about it. I went to the theater to watch Sherlock Holmes after going to an amusement park where I got one of those stuff dolls (A Stewie from Family Guy) and a packet of pictures (the best pictures I have ever taken in a public place). However, a lady stopped me saying I couldn't take my doll into the theater. I thought it was because they were expecting a huge crowd- mind you the movie has been out for weeks prior to my viewing. Anyway, I ask her what I should do with it so she said she would watch it. So I gave it to her. Turns out there was no one else in the movie. Oh well. Anyway, after the movie, I was rushing to get out because my friend with me was getting on my nerves so I rushing to leave- leaving my pictures and doll there. The next morning I remembered that I had left all my goodies there so I called the theater to see if they might have it in their lost and found. THe lady who answered told me they are not allowed to keep dolls and the lady who took it did not have the right to keep it for me. Also, they didn't have any pictures in their lost and found. I am still so angry with myself and the lady who took my Stewie doll (though I am more mad at myself). Aarrgghh!
What's the most valuable/sentimental possession you have left somewhere only to lose it?

It's been ten years, and I'm still kicking myself over it. I had one of my dad's old pocket watches, that he had given to me, in my coat pocket when I went to class that day, and I'm assuming that it fell out at some point. I didn't realize it till I got home, and it never showed up in lost and found. I assume that there is someone out there using it, and I guess that that is a good thing, but it is still a wakeup call to think that one moment of inattentiveness, and you can lose something that means a great deal to you.
