I'm usually a warm water person when I take a shower, my husband however likes it really hot. I don't understand how you can scorch your skin like that but he smells so good so well :P Do you like taking a shower in cold or hot water? Is it by preference or by environment, like there's limited water in your area?

that is very very true! you should listen to your father he sounds wise xD
I have proven to myself that training your body is good. Even if that means to bear a cold shower once in a while. My best friends showers with really hot water even in the hottest days of the summer and she gets sick very easily and this is way unhealthier than a cold shower on a trained body!

I definitely prefer hot showers or at least warm showers. Now in the summer time I can stand to take pretty cool showers if I've been outside all day and I'm just burning up. However I can't take just a cold shower. It has to be cool or lukewarm.

I prefer warm showers, a lil hotter than warm though especially in winter... But a hot bath tops a shower anyday if I can get one. In summer I do like a cooler shower.

I like them very, very warm, warmer than my husband or children are comfortable with...
Except not so hot in summer.

I personally prefer warm to hot showers...Warm showers during the summer since it's usually hotter outside, but also, when you walk out, you feel refreshed since the water is usually hotter than the air outside. Hot showers during the winter, since I usually get really cold, so the hot water helps make me warm before going to bed.

hi thuhuong I shower with warm water as I hate cold showers and in a retirement center like this hot water can all of a sudden turn scalding hot as people turn their various showers off and on, so just warm so if the tempt of water changes I can adjust it up or down as needed. one person here actually got her arm scalded when the hot shower turned much too hot like boiling, and she moved to slowly getting out from under it. so I take no chances myself. warm will do me just fine.

I would love to take hot shower. It is always relaxing. Even if it is a sunny day, I would prefer hot shower. I don't think having a hot shower in a sunny day would make me feel hotter or warmer, it would rather make me more relaxed and besides, it's water so it will rejuvenate the skin. I don't prefer cold shower because it constricts my vessels making my blood circulation poor, so it wouldn't be advisable if you want to have a relaxing feeling. However, I use cold water sometime in the evening to bathe my face because of it's constricting effect to help close the pores in my face. =D
