Hot rod`s are old cars (usualy americans) nice repaired, are cars with lot of power, with old school look and flames on paint. Hot rods are cars from 1937 to~ '50s because after this came the MUSCLE CAR in US and Minicars in Europe (citroen renault fiat) To be a hot rod an old car must have custom operations done, if not it is only a classic car (a muscle car can also be are a clasic car) There is a kind of comparison between HOT ROD`s and RAT ROD`s the last ones are not so glamour are more real and deamn they are MAD:)) Rat rods appeared far before hot rods firs made by teens by removeing all unnecesary parts from them cars. those now adays have no(fresh) paint, only pathces of old one and rust, or if they have paint it is a color simillary to rust. they have a chopped roof, no windows, no engine hoods, Now back to hotrods Hot roads are cars been sold now with prices between 20,000$ and 60,000$ They find in USA mostly, in Germany a few, and in Australia. USA is full with old cars hunted and customised by hotroad lovers. in other parts there are no so much treasures to be find. IN USA are many old cars because there was no World War II to destroy them and no Comunists to steal from people their cars and trucks.also the low price since forever in US for fuel made people not to change those cars with economical new ones. I really would like to build a hot road because in my f**king east european country is not even one! shame my stup*d cohabitants. NOW WHOULD YOU LIKE A HOT ROD OR A RAT ROAD DO YOU HAVE ONE? DO YOU NOW PEOLE HO HAVE HOT RODS

Wow Useful information. I didn't know so much stuff about hot rod. I think they are cool, a little bit expensive, but cool. I don't have one but if I had the money and I would afford one, I would buy me a piece of this. Good luck with building your car!
