Have you ever played on a Runescape Private Server?

Have any of you guys ever played on a runescape private server? And do you approve of them? I have played on a few and made my own. I do not feel it is bad since we are not making profit out of it and private servers are sometimes a fun thing to play.
What do you think about them?

My friend showed me a private server before and it was heaps of fun for a few days. Once you max out everything to 99 you can run around doing all the things that would have taken years to achieve which can feel awesome. How ever they can get boring fast which is why I didn't stick with it very long. Also many of them seem to often go offline or be very laggy.

Yeah, once you max out it does get boring, but I own a runescape private server, and it is so fun! If you want to check my server out, look in my profile.

Well, I have played one, but it was very strange. I haven't played any other private servers so I can't compare it to anything but this private server didn't seem like anything worthwhile. Sure, you can make money and level up much faster, but if you don't get most of the other content in the real Runescape then there just doesn't seem to be any point in leveling up at all. . . Again, I only played this one server so I can't compare it to anything.

I really enjoy playing on runescape private servers. I usually play them when I take a break from runescape... I like the fast leveling and stuff from the private servers :D

I've never played on a private server before, but I have been interested in trying one before since it's so hard to get really good the legit way, lol. I don't have a problem with them though.

Lmao, my friend and I got in an argument about how its illegal and blah blah... So I told him that having one if fine, and most people do not care about them. I'm so glad you support my point :D

i really wish that i could play on a few of them, as you said they dont bring in profit and are soley for fun. Yet, i think Jagex just doesn't want there to be private servers because it fears that people won't play their games. I personally, couldnt get on any of them because of my computer though.

i like private servers they are cool just get what ever you want fast.. i have my own to 508 server anishscape.no-ip.biz
