Arsene Wenger's boys were again outgunned by Didier Drogba. I do not know what is it with Drogba, but he loves scoring against Arsenal. And in the first 25 minutes he had finished off any hopes that Arsenal had of coming back into the title hunt. The final summary for Chelsea looked like this: Two chances Two goals. For Arsenal it looked like this: Hundreds of chances Zero goals. A familiar script these days with Arsenal. To be fair to Chelsea, there were very few clear cut chances for Arsenal as the Arsenal players seemed afraid to shoot at the goal and were trying passes in front of the goal which was easy to cut off!!
Looks like another season without a trophy for Arsenal. What do you guys have to comment on this?
Cheers!

It's disappointing but one should not write off Arsenal so soon. It's annoying for a team to play good football and not be able to get right what is most importanct in football, scoring valid goals!
One of the problem of Arsenal is that the players don't put their opponents under enormous pressure; they don't tackle their opponents enough and before they know what is happening their opponent should have been in Arsenal vital areas. Moreover, the players tend to overdo the number of passes they make before attempting to score goals. While this type of play is good and rewarding when playing against a weaker team and a team with not so strong defence, it rarely work with strong teams.
One's hope of Arsenal winning some silverware is almost dashed but all is not lost yet. Maybe, just maybe, the team may recover sot spring some surprise; just maybe!

You are absolutely spot on about the pressure aspect. One thing which Chelsea and Man U are very good at is when they near the D they take shots and usually good ones and ensure that the goal keeper is tested. Arsenal try to pass it into the net, which means more touches by the players and that means more chances for the defense to clear their lines.

Yeah, The Gunners doesn't cope well with their own style of play! I didn't really watch the whole game, but only the final third. They play their usual short-one-two-pass, but guess what? Their players don't really get into the position. I suppose that have something to do with their defeat to Manchester United last week (They were defeated by Counter Attack!). The full back doesn't go forward to fill the wide area. That's why Chelsea easily cut their pass down the flank.

We still have a chance to win the title . We are 6 points away , with 12 games to go . Arshavin is injured at the moment but I hope he'll be back soon .
About the games against Man Utd and Chelsea , we played good enough but we go unlucky goals .
