but can't. what is the obstacle that impedes you from staying home? Is it because of... 1) Money(duh)? 2) A very good paying job where you maintain a high position? 3) You are the breadwinner of the house? 3) Your husband does not agree with your desire to stay home because of the high load he would have to carry? 4) Pressure from family members/inlaws etc that discourage you from taking that step? Or any other scenario? What is your impediment to stay home with your kids?

Hi Mady I am not a working woman but I can feel the emotions of a woking woman who would like to stay home to raise the kids. The reason might be of different kinds but the common reason would be that it will be helpful for a family if a woman earns for the family. If both husband and wife work for the family they can give a better future for their children, and if you want something you have to leave something. Have a nice day.

hi there Mady. yes like you im a working mom.. i need to because im a single mom, im a breadwinner.,i have 3 more siblings and i have lots of debts to pay and bills to pay. i see my self working just because of all those reasons. other people are working for them to have some money to save or for them to have extra money for their self. im a single mom and my baby stays w/ my mom there in the province and i can see my baby 2-3x a month only( every payoff ) so sad. then after i visit them ill come back to city again w/ no money left on my pocket because need to bring milk diapers and left money for their everyday budget. now im trying my luck here online to search some ways for me to earn extra money. im happy that one of my freinds introduce mylot. happy mylotting :))

You are doing a very tough job raising your kids as a single mom. It's huge load to do it all on your own. You are doing a great job!

My impediments start and end with money. That is the only reason why I’m still working while my son is being raised by my in-laws and parents. I’m not the principal bread-winner but the job situation is such that both hubby and me might lose our jobs any day (like most people around us) and then none of us know when will we get our next job and what the pay will be like. So at least one of us has to be working steady and since being a woman its more difficult to adjust to new places, hubby’s been changing jobs frequently in search of the ideal amount which would see both of us thru…if ever he gets to earn that much, I would give up my job (wishful thinking)

hi.. foremost, I'd really want to stay at home to personallt take good care of my child.. I love to see her grew up.. but right now, I think that is impossible since I'm the breadwinner of the family.. No matter how I want to take care of my child, I'm oblige to work.. This is one reason why I am trying to look for sites that could pay me so that if I already have some capital, I want to put up my own business so that when I have a business, I could hire somebody to oversee that business for me and that way, i can be able to spend quality time with my child.. This time, I just spend most of my time when I get home with my child.. and when I see her, I feel like all the tiring works I've done throughout the day is being swept aside by her smiles and giggles.. she's my inspiration in working.. and I'll do my best to make my dream come true for her..

I gave up my work, interior designing and teaching, of which I loved and enjoyed so much because i need to be with my daughter who is very sickly. It took me months before I can finally accept the fact that I can no longer work outside our home because of this situation ( I think I have not completely accepted it yet...) The mother in me just couldn't afford to take risking my daughter's health for my own personal happiness. I klove my daughter more than anything else in this world. Maybe, when she's older and stronger I can go back to what I am doing...

I'm so sorry to hear your daughter is sick. I also think you did the right thing. Eventually you will able to go back to work again.

the very first reason why I choose to have a job than raising my child is, of course, money..LOL..but I choose a part time job. I start my job at afternoon so I can spend my time with my little girl along the morning. By doing that I can have two advantages: earning money without loosing my attention to my little girl, cos though it's only a part time job but the payment is not bad at all..:))
