I feel strongly that racing animals is a real cruelty to that poor animal- whether it is horses, dogs, camels, bullocks, any animal. It is most cruel to see human beings train them daily and then make them run and slog just for a few moments of fun or for making money for the owners and the bettors - I wonder how the associations for this cruelty to animals have not looked into this. It is just because the poor animals cannot talk. What if the humans were put in the same place as animals and made to run for money's sake ( and the runner not getting anything!!) - would there not be an uproar? Think about this.

You mean when we join a race the organizers are cruel to us, without thinking much or our energy, health or something else? There are mush more cruel than that so I guess, for me its not cruel at all to see animals in the race.

Animals fighting against each other is much more cruel than racing. Using animals to unbearable circumstances is also cruel. Hunting for their fur is cruel but racing is not if you will ask me. Killing animals because they eat our crops or they eat our poultry is cruel.
