will india make it DRAW? Dravid really a big miss!

its really hard to make a match draw from this situation, but now we really know the importance of dravid and the need of his consistency in that position.
gambhir,our consistent performer also dont deliver in this match,its another blow.
karthik would have defenitely batted better than saha.rohith sharmas injury on last moment was also a hit back.
But India is the only team which can fight backa and win the match even after following on.sometimes india play well during the follow on situation, we have beaten australians too. And making a good score in this innigs say around 450 will put the put the pressure on SA.Then they will be forced to chase in last innigs, playing the last innings in Indian pitches is very very difficult.Thats the dissapointing factor why we are in this condition, from here its difficult to score around 400, that too in this pitch.Lets hope for some good centuries from sachin or dhoni or the youngsters to save india.

Hi..being an indian i always favor indian team...but the way the team is selected seems something is wrong...even dhoni was not happy when he was been interviewed before the match...yes the fact dravid not playing makes a big difference in the batting line up, especially the middle order...though badrinath played a good debut innings and that too against a big team like south africa ... big names like tendulkar and dhoni were not upto the mark...ishant sharma in the bowling section was very weak as the wickets taken are mostly from fast bowlers.i agree with you about saha...karthik would have batted better than him.i would prefer irfan pathan also in the team as he an alrounder.when south africa started batting and the way they took i had thought its just full batting track and it wont harm indian team as well and they will also make big score and the match is gonna be a tie....but the situation now seems that india will have to play really well to make the match draw...hope to see a big big inning from sachin.

ya the selection was very poor, the squad should have been atleast 16 member in this condition, picking saha instead of partiv or patel and avoiding virat kholi was a real foolish move from indian selectors.
but india have a good habbit of scoring in 2nd innigs after follow on, so let it happen here also.

hope it does happen buddy..i dont like indian team losing and that to now that they are in number 1 position and south africa on number 2....all the matches they play are crucial..if they keep loosing and south africa keep winning then again india will lose the number 1 position and donno again wen they will get it back.

ya to stay at no:1 we need towin matches.
if SA wins this match then the second match will be like do or die for the no:1 spot.1-1 draw also make india at no:1.
so its crucial for india.

for making draw we have to play slowly and steadly.

but its not impossible,we need atleast 1 double century and 2centuries to acheive this. if sachin hits 200 then we can almost save the match.

it is going to be really tough for Indian team to save the game from hereon as the middle order lacks experience. Seriously, India are on the backfoot and to save the game they would need to bat at least till the lunch on Day 5 with a target of at least 200 runs to say the least. Other than that...I hope the rain gods could do their bit as well.

well i dont think that rain will come, but dhoni has an amazing record that he has never lost a test under his captaincy so lets hope that record stays intact and if india lost here it will be the first test loss for dhoni under his captaincy.

being an indian i would love too see some miracle but it is unlikely . India for sure will go on loose this test match. we lacked application and middle order was not up top the mark. badri and veeru played well but rest were shaky . I once again feel we lost this test match bec of our bowling and hrbhajan has to take the blame for it

but dont you know that we hve the habbit of hitting back after following on?
but dravind and laxman were the leaders on that time, lets hope that sachin or dhoni will take responsibility and make it a draw.

It is quite difficult to win the 2nd test and make the series draw even dravid, laxman come because the bowling line of south African is very strong and this win their confidence will also increase so much. But i have little bit hope on sachin, tendulkar who can save india from defeating the series

It is always difficult now that India is trailing by some 260 and have only 8 wickets in hand with two days more to go. India has done it in the past against quality oppositions but now is a different scenario with youngsters trying to makee a mark in which they failed in the first innings. Hope they would all contribut to the team and draw or win this test match. It will really haunt the proteas if India is able to get out of this test match without losing it!!
