My hometomn is china, in there, seems no one use carpet floos as friends I know. We just use hard wood floor. But here in American, carpet floor seems so common, every house use it.
I have no experience how to clean the carpet floor, so I just use vacuum to clean it evey month or two weeks. Is that enough? how often you cacuum you carpet floor? one or two week? or even every day? Does vacuum enough? do you use some clean production to clean it?

Carpets should be cleaned everyday or once in 2/3 days. It can easily be the source of dirt which you and your family will not want to stay longer near dirty carpet.
It can be the source of disease as well.
Just cleaned it as frequent as you can. even though you see that the carpet is still clean so, you avoid cleaning it. The dirt is everywhere and dirt can easily stick to the carpet and stay.
happy cleaning ^^

i dun really use the specific cleaning liquid though. Just vacuum it regularly. I dun have lots of carpets at home so dun really bother of finding the special liquid to clean the whole carpet. And i seldom wash it as it can damage the cloth. once in a year, i wash the carpet. =D

Hi,
Once a week I vacuum the floors, both carpet and the kitchen linoleum. It's actually quote soothing if I allowed myself to want to vacuum more. Of course there's no need but once a week, but rather I say that I'd enjoy it more if I would vacuum with more lax or more fervor all depending.

Oh sorry I forgot about that question. Hmm, I do sometimes use a cleaning product, but that is place of vacuuming, so I don't actually vacuum when I use said product. However, we use an older vacuum, the kind that you put water in the bottom of it, and then take the water out after vacuuming as it catches what your vacuuming up.

I usually vacuum the carpets once in a week or two, depending on how much time I have to do that. I usually use no extra cleaning means, because I execute a very deep cleaning, cleaning thoroughly every inch of the carpet, so there will be no soil left there.

I agree, I come from Panama and only the rich had carpet. Now, in America, everyone has carpet. I don't see the big deal, I loathe it. It gets dirty way to easily and flattens over time. I vacuum my carpet every 3 days, and I bought a steam cleaner to clean it every once a month. In my vacuums, I generally look for powerful suction and brushes to keep the carpet from flattening so soon. In steam cleaners, I look for the most rows of brushes and the most powerful suction. Some even dry the carpet for you with heat. I use vinegar and baking soda to clean my carpet, and it works just as well as the formula. (It's much more cheaper) Even if your carpet doesn't LOOK dirty, it is. I don't wear shoes in my apartment and I take good care of it, Either way, when I clean it, the water comes out black.
Ick, now do you see why I hate carpet?

hi! I vacuum the carpet at home( where I live now)only if someone else hasn't done it. SO actually we vacuum it every two days, because no one at home likes that there is much dust everywhere and it is better when we vacuum it more often!
