iPad: what can you say about it?

hi guys,
Apple recently released Ipad, a larger version of iTouch. It's pretty cool that they released something like that in the market but on the otherhand, I think it is more of business rather than giving what the consumers need. It has almost the same function as the smaller one... So, would you rather buy an iPad or a real laptop/notebook/iTouch/etc.?

For me the iPad is a very much different device and I must say that it is truly magical and quite impressive. I am not so much happy with the onscreen keyboard but I am still getting used to it. I must also say that I still type faster on iPhone. The device is quite heavy especially when I am holding it for some time and I would like to see next year a lighter one and a better screen just like the Retina display of the iPhone 4.

I hope next year there will be even better iPad and then I would buy it.
For me this device misses mainly the GSM functionality. If it had it I would buy it.
Also the new type of iPhone 4 display is really nice idea, but I don't think it will be iPad with the new type of displays. It is huge and I think apple won't afford it...

It is nice and some thing new . Its in between the iphone and laptop .As you said it is useless for common person . I would by rather a laptop or palmtop plus a desktop for home in its price although touch screen function looks cool.
