I have never had a discussion deleted and for the life of me, i cannot think that i ever had a violation. But, uuummm, what did you do? I see all your discussions and i cannot remember that there was anything wrong. Or maybe i am just getting too old to notice. TATA.

This is not something new for me:-) I also have the same experience here. I posted a topic about my first earning here and it rammed a good 100+ responses but after a day it was deleted because of a violation ( I guess, the topic was similar or identical to topics already posted ahead of mine). It earned me $.71 for that day and for that post alone. When the topic was deleted , my earning went with it, too.
I don't think it is a fine but just a fair thing for admin to do. We couldn't be credited for earning something from a deleted post.Simply put, you post nothing you earn nothing.
So, next time be wary of what you are posting here so as not to waste your time.:-)

wow! that's really frustrating! but i think including an amount is not acceptable to mylot admin. can't understand why? knowing that it can serve as an inspiration to others in the first place. earning that high in a day is a hard thing for most of the members here.

That is not a fine!
When you post a discussion the earnings are ADDED to your account.
When it is deleted they are then REMOVED.
We do not earn if we start or respond on discussions which are deleted.

No. I don't know anything about fines. I'll have to go look at the FAQ's again. I'd be careful not to open a discussion if you think it might be in violation in some way. Take care!!

Unfortunately I was never fined by the myLot admin! I did variety of things to be eligible except posting violating discussions/responses/comments. But they never cared....
Ummm... my posts were deleted of course many times. In those cases I already knew it will happen... for the discussions I replied to were violations themselves:) I just couldn't resist answering... that's not violation, is it?

oh my what a long long user name. hi abhiab well once again you are another new one who did not read the guidelines, the rules, the questions and answers any mylot info, stead you just blindly plowed into discussions having no idea what was against the rules and what was not. you wont get fined but any of us unfortunate enough to respond to your rule breaking discussions also lost points and money just as you did. no this did not happen to me, know why ,I was sensible and I read all the information Mylot put there for us to know what to post and what not too, so no I did not ever have a discussion deleted. if you had read the rules before you ever posted any thing you would not have lost earnings and had your discussions deleted.think maybe you should now go and read all that lovely information and stop; making law breaking discussions?

No I don't think so...none of my discussion was deleted...
do mylot notifies you of your violation?
I have seen my earning getting deducted...but that was because I responded to a discussion which was later deleted..

I have never violated the rules, at least not to my knowledge anyway. I have had my earnings deducted, as I have responded to discussions there were deleted, which in turn deletes the responses as well. I know what I can and can't do in here and I try to live by it. I really don't start all that many discussions, but the ones I have started are still on the board, so that is a good thing, I guess. I try my best to live with the rules, but I think from time to time we all do make mistakes and violate on accident. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I don't think that this is a fine at all. They say that our earnings are not really ours until the money is added into our paypal accounts. I've seen that my earnings are adjusted frequently throughout the month and that doesn't really bother me very much at all. I would never think of it as a fine because I think if they were in fact fining us for doing something wrong, then we would be made aware of the reasons that we were being fined.

I donĀ“t think many mylotters have never had a post deleted. It is difficult to lear and some posts fall into rules or guidelines violations. When we post something, money is added to our account. Sometimes the post to be deleted stays at mylot for over a day and the money shows in your earnings. Then, when the post is deleted, the money is deduced. That is not a fine.
Newbies get more posts deleted than people who have been a longer time here. I think it is not only that the old mylotters have read and understood the rules better; newbies tend to thing that this is a site to promote other sites and thus get their posts deleted. This is a social site that pays, not a traffic and promoting site.
Happy posting
