we seriously need an unlike button for facebook status updates. Sometimes someone shares something on facebook in which we do not like, and have no means of expressing our full views about the status. I think as there is a like button for status updates, news feeds, notes, photos, etc... There should also be an unlike button for facebook

I agree in the dislike button. But for different reasons. We do have the means of expressing our full views about the status via comments etc. In fact if you needed a dislike button for that reason alone then you probably don't have a strong enough view on the subject anyway.
But yeah, We do need a dislike button. Either that or renaming the Like button to an "Agree" button or something.
Cause the last thing you want to do is "like" a subject that is really morbid. Lol.
