I was afraid of alot of different things including thwew dark.I hated the dark and it did scare me.I had to sleep in it because my parents didn't care if I was afraid or not it was bedtime.I remember making a big ordeal about going to bed and my father ended up yelling at me.I had imaginations about the dark as a child.Of corse
I saw things that really weren't what they appeared to be.Were you afraid of the dark as a child?

Yes. I hated the darknes and I still afraid of the dark. I hate when I am alone in the dark, even at home.

Of course, when I was a child, I really am so afraid of the dark especially if I am alone in the room. Luckily, I sleep with my mom in a room when I was a kid. But sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night and my mom is at deep sleep, I feel so scared and I used to always imagine things in the dark too.

I was terrified of the dark--I imagined all sorts of things that might be there that I couldn't see. I felt safer if I had some sort of cover to hide under, thinking that if the monsters couldn't see me they couldn't get me. I think a lot of kids are afraid of the dark! Now I'm not, of course, but in unfamiliar places I get the creeps sometimes. That was awful of your dad to yell at you--adults often forget how they felt when they were children.
