Let me hear you please if you are staying aboard. How do you find the country you're staying? I'm studying aboard since I graduated my 6 years high school in my country. I'm living in the Philippines now, only sometimes, I went back to Thailand for vacation. I experienced both good and bad, love and hate about the country. But I choose the remember only the good one, the things I love about here. I think people around the world are the same in the view that we have good and bad consist in us. I'm happy here in the Philippines, a nice country, though the immigration here gives me trouble sometimes. The weather here is nice since it's on the mountain, it's cool and cold. The people are nice and friendly. I'm happy here but one thing that depress me is I'm still studying here while all my friend in Thailand graduated......So, how are your experiences? Let's share.

Hi Hubfee, I am happy to hear and learn that you are enjoying your stay here in the philippines. don't worry too much once you finish your studies here you will be able to do whatever you wnat to do and fully enjoy life. for the meantime, have fun while learning, take your time and do some productive things than focusing on the negative feelings you have like being depress and getting homesick.

I've never personally had the opportunity to live abroad, but my husband has had that opportunity. He lived in Germany for about half of his childhood because his father was in the military. In fact, both of his brothers were born in Germany and had the opportunity to hold duel citizenship which they chose to not maintain once they were adults. He says that the experiences of living in another country are something that no other experience in life could ever parallel.

I think it's true. It makes me realize that how big and wide the world is and appreciate my life more.

I left my country in 1996, I use to live in Portugal and now I live it the UK. I like it now, but when I first came here it was really hard. Missing home family and friends can be really hard. But I survived the first years and it got easier, now I love being in the UK, I go back home for holiday every summer, but I don't think I could live in Portugal again. I made my home here, my kids go to school here so I'm glad I came to live in England after all.
