ON PAYPAL: Mylot should somehow do something about this.

a lot of problems are being arise regarding paypal's sudden difficulties. frozen accounts, reversed payments, etc. do you think mylot should somehow do something about this? im sure if you're from india, (where paypal issues affected most) you wouldn't bother to continue working on that site anymore if it only approves paypal payment. i myself would leave the site should it happen. its just a waste of time. i think they should somehow do something as an alternative to earn more members loyalty.

There is not much that mylot can do about pay-pals issues, but luckily I am from the United States and have not had any problems with them yet.

good for you. but im sure mylot wouldn't want to have members from the united states alone. worst is, they dont want more of their members now to leave them only because of payment issues like that of paypal.

Dude, I am from India and I am sure PayPal will resolve the problem soon! I am currently at exactly 3.00$ and I have 7$ more to go for my payout! Also, I have another idea till PayPal resolves the problem - I will still remain on this site as this is like my home and I will continue to flush up and gather up my earnings upto 25$, so by that time the issue would have been looked after and I can get a huge payment after that! Ha ha!

that would be a good idea until they resolve the problem.

Well, I don't think that mylot payments would be affected. If I understood it correctly, the reversed payments is only for personal transactions.. but the business transactions are still okay. And I think mylot is a verified buyer so there should be no problem there. Well, atleast that's how I understood it..

@ ingkingderders so why the hell they would ask you to resolve the case when after choosing the service option, still they will reverse the payment.

That also happened to me, but it was only one time, and during that time the sender was an unverified buyer and I guess the transaction looked suspicious for paypal.. I also answered their queries but still they reversed the payment.. I contacted the admin of the site that paid that and they returned the money to my account, i'm not sure though if this time it's through a verified buyer or another one of those unverified ones.

something must be going on with people using personal payments. probably others are making a new trend for scam by asking users to pay something through personal payment and not business. but if am the looker here, i'd say the site is already a scam when it's asking you to pay the as personal payment.

Isn't it new to other countries? Paypal that is. Maybe alittle patience will see some improvement. I am in the US and have never had any problem with PayPal. I hope it is just a glitch and worked out soon for you.

I was glad to hear that PayPal had started service in other countries. It is not uncommon for such services untakings to have some glitches and for it take some time to get the glitches out. I have been with PayPal for about eight years and have always been happy with their service.

Wow! I have not encountered such problems lately and I do hope I won't since I am using it as my main source of getting payments from international clients. Hopefully, they'd be able to resolve it sooner.

Thank you. I do seriously hope though that it will be addressed and fixed soon enough because I'm sure a lot of people in india are also earning extra income from online opportunities such as this, which only pay via paypal.

Paypal has been acting faster in case of the reversals we have been witnessing and some had re-reversals though----looks like they're on the edge of sorting this out very soon so we dont have to press the panic button---Paypal knows the importance of offering their services to us they done even dare to take an crazy step by limiting our transactions coz it would cost them a lot interms of fee.great day.

i just thought that if paypal could not resolve the issue with our indian friends, and if mylot could not also do something with paypal or something, i guess the last option is for mylot accept or add another payment system. i think there is alertpay and moneybookers that is still in operation. please correct me if i am wrong. just my thoughts. thanks...

I had no idea there was trouble over at Paypal. I'm from the Philippines; is this something I should be worried about? Maybe Mylot will consider other payment options if Paypal is not able to work out its problems, but as of now, sounds like it's still early days...

I think they suspect some fraudulent activities that is going with india users and illegal transaction or scam sort of things, i think it going to be ok but because of other that have been blacklisted and asian countries that are having problems with paypal, we want mylot to add alertpay as an optional payment processor, they have good security to and is recognized worldwide
• Philippines
9 Feb 10
yah right shynepapin101. but i think alertpay is charging a big amount from withdrawal that makes them always the second option before paypal.

I think paypal will soon resolve this problem. So far paypal is the best payment processor. In this case mylot cant do anything.

What stinks is the fact that the paypal issues are issues with paypal now with the individual sites that pay through paypal, they may be getting a bad reputation, but really it isn't their fault. Now, all of that said, I think that it is best when a site offers multiple different streams for their payout. However, the disadvantage to that is that they have to keep their money in different places which could get confusing. All of this said, I hope that paypal hurries up and gets their stuff straightened out.

I'm sure that myLot is working on the issue about this. They know if members don't get paid then they wouldn't get hits and discussions and may also lead to downfall in their site. There are lots of people in India in myLot so that would probably alarm them because when you are like 10% on the whole population on myLot then that would be bad if 10% members would leave myLot. That is a big Fraction. Just don't lose hope in myLot. I'm sure they will try to put it into account. They do pay don't they? Besides you are working hard on posting your discussions. Happy myLotting ^^

Yes, MyLot! drakesuyat has a good point. There should be contingencies or alternative on times like this. I already work so hard and enjoying myself. It would be a great disappointment if I don't get my reward once I reach it. Please do something. Thank you.

dont worry atv818, i myself is sure that mylot will always do their part on this. im saying this coz from one of the sites that im working with and had paid me punctually, you'll see a big note regarding the paypal issue and assuring that they'll still be there for their members.
