So this past weekend I got bored and well lets just say I ended up super gluing a penny to my friends wooden dorm room dorm. He is very pissed and has banned me from his room till i fix it. Which personally doesnt make sense because I have to go to his room to take it off but w.e thats beside the point.
My question is does anyone know how I can get this off? Help please!!!

There are several products to remove super glue, but a penny stuck to the door is kind of a special situation. Super Glue remover is sold by the company which is mainly the chemical, Acetone. Some, but not all, nail polish removers contain acetone. Unfortunately, the acetone would probably ruin the finish on the door.
Another solution is WD40 applied around the area of the penny and hopefully it will loosen the edges so you can gently pry the penny from the door. This will probably take several applications and patience. You might also try a product called Glue Be Gone, which is a pretty safe product, probably would not harm the door, but will take a while to dissolve the glue. The secret is to get the product between the penny and the door, so apply several coats along the edges of the penny and hope it softens the glue.
Good luck with removing the penny and repairing your friendship. Sometimes we have to think things through before we actually do them.

Thanks for the very informed and not generic response I have been seeing on superglue removal.
Alright Aceton probably not the best to try first. I am thinking Glue be Gone would be a less obvious and better solution. where would I get that?
