Do you eat more in the morning, or at night time?

From my friend's recommendation, I should eat more in the morning, or lunch time, and eat less during the night time. Since I have my dinner around 8:00 to 9:00 P.M. that is pretty late, and it might close my bed time; I shouldn't eat too much before I go to bed. It might cause me a big belly later on.
The best practice, you rather eat more in the morning, like breakfast, and lunch. Eat a little bit less during night time. Would you agree?

i like eat more in the night then i sleep because i have one slogan that eat n sleep,beat n go away as soon as possible.

i agree with you. i try to eat during the morning or during the day time. it is abit more healthier that you lay off the food late at night. also staying on a good healthy diet is great for your body and your health. but also your health sorta depends on what your genetics are like. well, keep staying healthy!

Usually, I would eat more at night time, and less on the morning, quite a opposite from what I posted. But, after I heard the advise from my friends, I might change my habit a bit by bit. Hopefully, I can stay healthy like you said.

Breakfast is compulsary for me. i drink oat ever morning and take at least 3 slices of bread. i had my lunch around 1.30pm and i eat big portion of food. Countinously, i eat two slices of bread during tea-time. i take dinner quite late also which is around 8pm. My mother cook a lot for dinner and i love her cooking. Usually she will prepare big portion of dinner. I am difficult to grow fat dispite eat a lot. I need to gain more weight because i think that my body shape looks ugly, too thin. i eat whenever i wish and do not control of the food.

I take less food in morning because at that i didn't feel much hungry as compare at night. At Night i take more quantity of food. But it is good for health if you take more in breakfast and little bit less during night time ya i am agree.

i know all this good reasons BUT ..
but i love to eat at night, just after work .. be home at around 7pm, start cooking around 8 ... eat in front of tv around 9 or 9.30 with my husband ... chit chat with him for a while ..
we only dont eat dinner on Saturdays and Sundays because we have breakfast around 10 ... cook and eat lunch around 4 ... by dinner time we are totally full ..

I don't eat alot during the day and alot at nights. My probelm is I eat dring the night when I should be sleeping! It is usually some kind of candy or chocolate. I do it because it is comfort! It doesn't help with my weight problem any! It is a big problem and need to stop it!

I know what you mentioned. But I just can't eat a lot in the morning, I kind used to eat nothing in the morining right now. And I did't have enough time to lunch, so I kind eat a lot during the supper, which is not so good, because after supper, you did have so many to do ,and just gaze weight.
I kind become fatter and fatter everyday, maybe I should get up more earing, so I have more time to make a dilicous breakfeast. But seems it will take a long time to happen!

I agree with you.we should eat little in the night and eat more in the morning.It is good for our health.But I always eat more in the night because at night I have more time to eat delicious things and I always busying in the morning and don't have enough time to eat breakfast.It is a bad thing.

I eat more during evening although I know that it isn't good.
You should eat more in the morning and eat less in the evening.
But still it depends on your lifestyle.
Since there are people who sleeps through their day and work in the night.
There is a quote like this, "Eat like a king in the morning, eat like a prince for lunch and eat like a pauper in the evening"
You should follow this. :D

Unfortunately I spend all my night (till 7 o'clock in the morning) working...And I sleep untill the afternoon....SO I always have my breakfast at afternoon and my lunch at night....kind weird and stupid but got used to it. Thank God I have one week to go.

i ate a lot in the morning.why?because this is the very important meal for whole day.breakfast is were you get all your strength for the whole day.at night i dont want to eat to much.cause if i do that i have a bad dreams.hehehe..

Hi, kingparker. Yes, I think that it is best to eat more in the mornings vs at night. It does cause extra weight problems when eating at night, especially when you would have to sleep on the food. I usually eat more in the daytime. I am more thirsty at night. I usually will eat mostly between 11 a.m and 7 p.m.

Yes i have heard that those people who are eating more and belly full are in the morning are more active than those who didnot eat much in the morning. So i recommended you eat more in the morning.

I agree with you. But I eat more at night time even though I know it makes me be overweight.
I formerly ate less at night in order to lose weight. however, I felt I was very hungry after the dinner. In the end, I gave up.
Now in order to lose weight, I choose to eat more vegetables and fruits at night time. And then I can not only eat a lot but also lose my weight. So I can kill two birds with one stone.

i think eating in the morning is more better than eating in the night... because in the night you just eat and sleep after some time... and there is no exercise after you eat in the night or any physical activity... but in the morning it is the start of the day and you have to collect a lot of energy to spend the whole good... so its better to eat in morning more than in the night.....
