How do you cope with your husband's "bachelor" attitudes?

They say that as a relationship tends to grow longer, the more differences one will discover. How will you cope with a husband who seems cannot let go of his single, carefree lifestyle? You expect him to be more mature and responsible for the family you two supposed to be rearing together. What if you give more, and you think he gives less?
