Siberian huskie or alaska malamute?

Pelusa - I hope in this picture you can see the face form of my dog to know if she was an alaska or a huskie. Her name was pelusa, I'm from mexico and that's a common name for dogs, specially for small ones, my father named her so when she was little!!! Thank you.

Hello, I had a dog named Pelusa, she was the love of my life. She passed away this year, the doctor put her away to sleep because last year she was hited by a car. I miss Pelusa very much but that's not the real topic. When I bought her as a little pet, the told me it was a huskie, It was even expensive for that... but as she grew, my dad said "its an alaska". I will post the picture and you comment what is she more like, huskie or alaska. It will be also interesting to know which one you like the most and why??Any experience in losing a beloved dog??Please answer to my doubt!!Thank you, Libna.

Hello MelissaLou. Thank you for answering my question. I wondr why no one else knows if it is an alaska!! So what does flister mean?? I don't think people here write only for the money. For instance, I write because I am forgetting english very bad and I want to improve my english skills so I can go "de mojada" haha not true. But yes I want to be better in english so when I go shopping with my beloved sisters to the mall, people won't think we are ignorant. Have a very nice day MelissaLou and please write MORE!!!

Hi, I also have a dog siberian huskie! I also like you tought that my dog is not huskie, but alaska. I bring the dog to zoo d-r and hi told me that the dog is huskie, but just a littel big huskie. I think that is not so important if my dog is huskie or alaska, more important is that i and my family love that dog and looking for him. The dog is very clever and nice, so don't care abut your dog wath kind ot dog it it was. More important is that that dog is your dog. Your faitful friend. Yes, your dog more view like alaska. The alaska are littel biger than huskie and the alaska's dog head is more biger. The alaska hair is more diferent than huskie's hair, but I can see that from uor dog's picture. I don't have favorite between huskie and alska. Both of them have own beauty. Greeting form me.

hellow there =D im cannot judge Peluska is a husky or alaskan, because you only put her face pict. bt, if you want to know the differences between husky or alaskan is, Alaskan more big, more tall and have fur more long and thick than husky.. hope this will help you. =D

Hi libnawilkerson, It looks like a Siberian huskie to me, I dunno their so similar with alaskan malamute. But I really think its a Siberian huskie call it a breeder's hunch LOL, Kindly post some photos so I can observe what kind of breed Pelusa is, Have a nice day friend.
