would you? i love psychology so i would think it would be a very interesting thing to sit down and be able to ask questions (in a SAFE spot) and try to figure out how they ticked.. im sure some would probably be so horrified they wouldnt want to be in the same building much less a room interviewing them.. so would you want to? what would you ask?

Yes I want to have. 1. How he feel before and after killing? 2. If he would not a serial killer then what is his second choice? 3. If I agree to be killed by him then will he kill me? 4. How must the interval between every killing he can bear? 5. How he feel if he can't kill for a very period of time? 6. In that leaning period of starvation of killing, can he satisfied with killing of other animal than man? 7. What he like more in killing? Man or woman?

I think they may have second choice or may be they had some choice but fail in achieving on that and chose serial killing as second choice!!!

Hey moonlit! I think that is a very interesting question! Kind of reminds me of "Silence of the Lambs"! And, no I don't think I would have wanted to do that interview! I don't know how I would feel about sitting in front of a serial killer! I also am the curious type and wonder what they are thinking and why they would do the things that they do. But, I'm not sure how I would feel about looking them straight in the eye! I also believe in "an eye for an eye" and feel if you kill you should be killed so I would probably want revenge more than a story, especially is the crimes were vicious and tortuous!

i wonder if they would try to fake sorrow or if they would be legit in it though? some killers go to their grave wishing they had killed more and others start crying like a baby as soon as their caught it seems

I think it was Ted Bundy who said that in order to get rid of people like him they should ban Hustler magazine and not Catcher In The Rye. I wouldn't know what to ask them so I don't think it would matter if I talked with them or not.

Well it would be an educational experience. I would try and ask questions that regards to exactly how he chooses victims. That tend to tell a lot about these types of people. There would be a lot to learned. Even if the person was deranged, there still could be some educational value. Only with the proper safety measures taken, as I would not want to be another victim on his list, should he find some way to get out for whatever reason.

Yes! I'd love to... provided there would be security guards watching out for me.. I don't want to die just yet in case he decides to kill me during the interview. lol This topic really interests me. I find it mysterious how the minds of serial killers work and what drives them to do such acts. I found this site that have lots of stories/discussions of real life crimes and I'm really taken out of breath! From the things I've read and watched on documentary shows on TV, I noticed that most of these killers have had sad childhoods. So maybe that's one of the things I would ask a serial killer during the interview. How he was when he was a child, how he was treated in school or by other people around him, as well as his family background. What is it that he gets out of killing people or how does he feel after committing a crime.

I agree with you that it would be interesting, and yes, if we were in a safe place with lots of witnesses around, and the person prefferably behind bullet proof glass, then I'd be interested in hearing what s/he had to say. An interview by phone, or even video chat on line would also be safe.

OMFG I WOULD LOVE THAT!! But I'm HUGE on criminology, abnormal psych and pretty much how ppl work ya know..I would find it absolutely facsinating...What kinds of things would I ask? Well the usual in the beginning like about his/her childhood and the normal expected questions but I'd also want to know things like how did he/she come to kill the first time..how/what was he or she feeling right before a kill, during the kill and after the kill....What did he or she think was the stressor each time and omg there are so many other things I'd want to know.

If I will be given a chance, yes I will go for it. I am a Psychology graduate so I love studying behavior patterns. I would ask if they still have a conscience or part of them wants to stop during their killing spree. I will ask if they want to ask forgiveness to their victims. Also, I will ask if they want another chance in life. However, serial killers are the best type of liars, so basically I am not looking for a straight answer but a reaction to these questions.
