Hi mylotters. There is so much TV series that become popular through the time. But, what TV serie is the most popular in USA? What do you think about that? I think maybe The Simpsons, but, hey, there are others too. What do you think about that?

Depends what you define as "popular". But if you go by ratings (note, I am not from the US) then shows like Idol and the Super Strike (I believe that's what it's called) are popular from ratings. I also know that shows such as NCIS, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, House, Desperate Housewives, Law and Order franchise, CSI franchise etc. - there are more but it's 1 in the morning and I'm tired - attract 7+ million viewers on average.
But I guess there are other shows such as Gossip Girl which are considered popular, though not really in terms of ratings. So it really depends on your definition of the word.

Well I would have to agree with the Simpsons. They have been around for over twenty years. It appears that they will be around for many more years to come. It is about the only one I check out regularly, although not as much in recent years. I rarely watch television as much as I used to. Still, the Simpsons would have to be up there in the best of all time. Another one even though it's been in reruns for quite some time, would be Married....With Children. Those two are among two of the most iconic television series of all time.
