Our president in South Africa is often on the news for all the wrong reasons. These days he is on the news because he has recently fathered a child out of wedlock. He already has three wives and is engaged to another woman and has a total of 20 children. No, he is not engaged to the mother of his youngest child. People are fuming saying he is abusing his position, others want him to resign.Polygamists like him think his pivate life is his own business. Do you think politicians should be judged so much? I know in other countries this constitute a scandal but in SA it is an invasion of privacy.

i think its a scandal. a politician like that would easily be kicked out of office for something like that where i live. politicians take heat in my country but its nothing compared to what your talking about. thats reckless behavior. he doesn't even have enough time to do his job with the mess hes in.

Elmiko, I am glad to hear that in your nation politicians are expected to be people of high moral values! On the other hand, while I expect people in authority to avoid abuse of power; I am however mindful that politicians are not clergies, whom I expect to naturally have high moral values.

Speaking about the clergy and high moral values, the world has become a scary place. While we expect them to have higher moral values there seem to be enough scandal connected with our cleric friends these days as well.

Yap, some of our so-called godly folks are becoming worse in their behaviours than the ungodly. I do not understand why wome of us godly folks seem to forget that SELF CONTROL is one of the fruits of the spirit.
