Well I am officially out of room for snow. If it snows anymore here in Minnesota I'll be shoveling and blowing it onto an area of my driveway I don't use. This photo shows just a small area of the snow mountains in my yard. I also have these piles alongside the house burrying the basem, ent windows etc. Some have reached the window sills already as well but luckily they've melted. Do you have any photos of the weather and or snow piles from your area to share?

I feel for ya there, Bob...
But I shouldn't be too smug... we're supposed to get some flurries later today. It's been so nice not having to shovel the walks this winter. Last year was bad here, and we, too, were running out of places to put it.

We have beeing seeing on the news about the snow in some areas in the US. I think it was Washington, but your area must be just as bad. We would bever see anything like that here in Adelaide. We are in the middle of a 4 day heatwave at the moment.
Does Buster still get out in the snow and play?
I would hate the shovelling part.
I am attaching a photo of our back yard at Penneshaw. This doesn't show the weather as such, but it shows the result of our long, hot droight. Everything is dry. The day I took this photo is was 40 C (about 105F).

It is a female turkey. Im found them nesting in my yard. She had laid eleven eggs. The male, who is huge, stayed on the eggs the whole time we were there.
Here is a good photo of the male turkey on the eggs.

We have the same down here...and you have to be very careful going around corners when you are driving as the snow banks are so tall it's hard to see over them or around them to find oncoming traffic....my yard is full.....I went to shovel the front steps and there is no place to put it anymore!

I haven't taken any picture of my home surroundings yet, but I am sure it looks pretty much the same like your yard. I also have a solution for your snow problem: you can bring it inside, melt it and use the water you get for flushing your toilet!

Wow, that IS an impressive pile of snow you have there
Unfortunately, I forgot to take any snaps of the snow, although I would have loved to because we received absolute blankets of it where I live. In some parts, it reached up to your knees

I don't think you are alone on that one. We aren't quite that bad, but will be if we get alot more snow. Stay warm and safe.

I have not really been taking pictures. We have just mud right now and brown grass. Possible one inch snow fall tonight. We have not had any for a couple of weeks. I am going to try to get some stuff done today because it is nice again, and I am pretty well caught up on computer stuff. I do hope that you stop having snow for just a little bit, as I would hate to have you completely buried. Have you started any seeds inside yet this year? I am thinking garden right now, myself.

I live in central Michigan and it's been going stong for about 20 hours or so now. I just got to work at midnight and get out at 8 and figured the roads would be clear by the time I went home but it isn't looking too good. I don't know where it is comming from but it just keeps comming. My fiance is going to have a baby at any second right now and this snow is making me nervous, especialy with me on third shifts. At least she is at her sisters tonight just in case something happens but I think it would take them 45 minutes to get to the hospital, usually a 20 minute drive. I hope my little girl just waits a bit longer, she's definately making daddy nervous.

well Grandpa Bob the old Song about the weather outside is frightful, but inside its so delightful, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow ,may have been written in Minnesota. But I will beat the writer did not have to shovel the stuff out of his
drive way either. he he he We have some ugly looking black clouds coming in and its chilly ,looks like the rainstorm that has been predicted today. oh my the sunshine has fled. That cloud is black and had an odd shape almost like a funnel, hope I am wrong as its not that far away.

I haven't been outside yet, but here in Michigan we had a snowfall during the last 2 days... tues/wed...and in our area we got about 5-6 inches, not to bad considering north of us and south of us got alot more....we got lucky.
I havent taken any pictures of it yet...my actual camera is not working well, but my cell phone has a pretty good camera on it that I will go out and take some pics on that sometime today or tomorrow.
Hubby has been out shoveling it, he said it really isnt too bad out there so I am glad to hear that but we do have a snowblower along with our shovels....it is almost a must have here in Michigan.
I am just making my way back to Mylot, I have been out of action here and I have alot of catching up to do... see ya around the lot!!
Happy Mylotting!!

Ooh snow, I'd sure like some. In Texas. They say it may be possible for us to get a little tomorrow, but then it always just turns out that there is never a snow, or I just missed it, thats how little we've been getting. But why not send me an inch down here in Texas, we'd sure love to have some again.

Yes, I heard on the news over here in London that you guys in the US are really experiencing serious snow conditions! The news guys even referred to it as "Snowmagheddon", a totally unheard of situation. We had it bad just after Christmas but nothing in comparison to what you are experiencing. We had a small flurry this morning but that has disappeared and now it's sunny but still very cold and breezy. Unfortunately I don't have any photos to share but I hope that you guys get through this difficult period! All the best from London! Andrew
