Are you saving up for anything? What is it? How long will it take you?

I think most people will be saving their hard earned dollars for something special.
For me ,it is to help towards Gardening expenses, I like to have nice tools and be able to buy seeds for growing vegetables and although they are not hugely expensive, being a housewife, I want to earn the money myself to buy them.
A few years ago I was a member of mylot and saved up my money until I had enough for a greenhouse and then we went and bought it and I grew my tomatoes ,lettuce ,spinach and rocket in it which saved us quite a lot of money over the years.
Do you have anything that you are saving up your earnings to buy?
Will you earn all the cost of it from the internet do you think?
How long will you save ?

Hubby and I were saving up for a car, but now we have the money saved for that. I guess you could say I'm saving up for driving lessons! Just a few hours worth but still it's a lot to save for, $55.00 per hr!

I don't think I could learn to drive whilst pregnant! I wanna go ahead and get the learning how to drive out of the way, I went ahead and passed my permit test, so now I just have to learn and then go take the test for the driving portion!

If its anything like here, it is mostly can you control the car and do you follow the traffic directions properly.
Once I mastered my nerves, it was much better.

isn't it expensive now!
I had driving lessons when i was first earning money, then i stopped for a while because it got too expensive to afford.
Then when I was expecting my second child, I took another lot and my hubby gave me in-between lessons for practice.
Luckily that time I passed the test with only a few weeks left before my daughter was born.

I have a lot to save for but the main thing is to save for a trip back to my old home, where I have all my friends. I have been planning to get 2000 dollars from the internet to fund the trip, but some people say that it is not possible and some say that you could earn 3 times the amount in a year. I have 9 months ahead of me and 2000 dollars to go, with what I have seen on the internet how the things work around here I will be lucky to earn 50 percent of the target, if I don't get scammed anywhere. I will be saving till the end of this year and I hope to get the money I need.

I think you have set yourself a good challenge.
You want the thing badly and you are determined to fund it from your internet earnings.
I think you must remember that you don't get something for nothing, the more work you put in, the more you will gain from it but noone will pay you for just belonging to a thing without participating. I have heard a few people over the years saying join this or that and you can just sit back and wait for your money to grow. Well that is just wishful thinking.
Anywhere where you can participate and know you get payment is better than affiliating yourself to get rich quick schemes.
Sorry for the lecture but I have seen so many people saying 'they were scammed and it isn't fair' .
I hope you reach your goal.

I don't have anything particular that I am saving up for.. I am saving for a rainy day. That way, if I really need something online or out of the store, I will have the money to get it. That is my main goal as of now. I want to be able to save for things that I may need to buy sooner or later.

yes that's a good idea.
You are putting a little bit aside for security.
I like to do that too.
The feeling that it is a buffer against unexpected expenses really helps take the stress from life.
I saved for a long time for our greenhouse, not only from mylot but other ways too ,then I had a long rest from it and concentrated on my gardening.

Thats a good plan. You will make mountains from your little heaps of pennies eventually then :)
We have the green house already as I was saving up a long time .
Now I like to use my little bits of online savings for the garden supplies.
WE grow vegetables and fruit so the money goes towards seeds and tools.
