Touchscreen phones are huge nowadays and they have been growing on people. I personally find the iphone just so attractive and its interface so smooth, it's just to fell in love with. the new google phone on the other hand is way better in its components. But still I can't shake the idea that if I had to choose I would choose the iphone. Let me know which would you choose and why. Which touchscreen phone is the best to you and what really matters when choosing a cell phone.

I won't pick anyone of the ones you mentioned. I hate touchscreen phones. I've used all 3 versions of I-Phones & hated all of'em. Didn't like the way it looked but I don't usually go by the looks of the phone anyway so I figrued I'd give them a try. I didn't like the way they felt in my hand & didn't like the sound quality of it & didn't like the way it handled things, not to mention 99% of the apps that they are so proud of were completely useless to me. They all felt too much like a toy rather than a phone. If I was a teenage kid looking for something to play with, then may be, other than that, I wouldn't get it even if they were free. And I don't like touchscreen phones in general because screen gets too dirty, too easy & fast. Any screen can get that way but I don't feel like having to deal with it everyday or everytime when I'm trying to read an email or work related messages. I do have blackberry but it's not a touchscreen phone. I have 9700.

As funny as it may sound, I'm really not knocking an I-Phone, or any touchscreen phones for that matter. Just because they don't work for me doesn't mean it doesn't work for everybody. I work 2 jobs. One is in warehouse setting retail store & the other is translator. Whenever I'm running around, especially during summer, I like thousands of other people, tend to sweat. Try using touchscreen phone with sweaty chin. It's bad enough I have to constantly clean my screen on blackberry, could you imagine if the entire front face of the phone is a screen? Also, I'm not too big of a fan of text messaging or emails either but for work purposes, I do use them. Having a keyboard, or keypad in this case, for me was a lot easier than tapping away on a plastic screen. That's just me. I know many people find some, or a lot, of the apps useful. I have internet browser, email, camera, 1 gps based app called "poynt". That's it. If I wanna find restaurant & other interesting things, poynt does that. If I'm at home, that's what laptop is for. Like I said, 99% of apps on I-Phones are useless to me. Some people might need them. As you probably have guessed, I'm only speaking for myself. If I were you, I'd sit down & think about the things you need on your phone before getting it.

I like a high functioning phone, preferably a touch screen. I do a lot of texting and keyboards can break easily. Touch screens provide an ease of use. I don't like apple products so that would be something I wouldn't get. I'm kind of partical to samsung myself. But, that's just me. Nokia is also a good brand. I just am trying to worm my way from having to pay for a data plan I barely if ever use. That's what my own personal router is for.

I also like nokia. They're durable and very functional. I have read some things about nokia N97 and I found it a very good phone.

I have a touch screen phone, and I really like it, however, it does take time getting used to the touch screen as it is easy to hit the wrong thing on the screen, and that I have done a few times. I have and LG phone, and it is a nice phone. Ny son has the strom, as he uses it for his bsuiness, and it is a nice looking phone too. If i were with AT&T, I would probably have the iphone. I have the ipod touch, which is just lkie the iphone, but without the call feature, camera or mic. I am with Verizon, and they do have good phones, but I wish I had waited until the droid came out and got it. Now I have to wait awhile befoe I can upgrad again, but that is okay, as by the time I do, there will be a lit better phones out there. Take care, and happy mylotting.
