Sometimes we get ahead of ourselves and get in trouble by saying more than we should and then when you think about it, it could have been stopped before it got worse. Are you someone who would keep going at it or are you someone who would stop when you realize it's gotten out of hand and just let the other person win?

I didn't say I wasn't bothered, I just said I control myself enough to walk away without it growing worse. I am in control of me, no one else. Once I am alone I can go over the whole thing by myself in my head and work it out. Believe me I am not always right or wrong.

I would keep going at it. Even if I already made my point, and the other person gets it and agrees, I still keep going at it. It's who I am. I like coming up with example after example to support my theory or point.

No. Why would someone's feeling be hurt just because I'm trying to make a point? I don't call them names or put them down while I'm making my point...

thuhuong sometimes I do stop to save a situation from going from bad to worse to really worst.I hate confrontations and fights for one thing, but if this is turning on me and the other person is insulting me as a result I will keep going and make my point or else. I am so tired of having people walk all over me as they think because I have a sweet nature I will not fight back when unfairly accused of anything.

I probably let the other person win far too often. Sometimes you need to speak up for yourself. Just depends on the situation.
