Honestly, I just want to be able to provide for my son and not have to worry about whether he has food, medicine, transportation, schooling, etc. Right now we're in a rough situation of not having transportation, and I might be losing my job because the state is threatening to cut my day care benefit, because my son has been sick and missed too many days of day care.
So I'd really like to just somehow have a job where I could work from home and take care of him myself, and make enough money to afford food, transportation, all of that.

Yeah, it's been a really long time since I logged on. Had a lot going on.
It's easy to know there are such jobs out there, but finding one is a lot more complicated. I keep looking in the newspapers and online, but I can't seem to get anything!

What I want for my life is basically to be able to help people, do something useful to everyone and change something in this world. I hope that my life makes an impact in this world because we really need someone that creates change. I hope I can live well and long so I can have my own family and see what comes. Life has many things to offer :)

I really want to travel...at least around this big island I live on. I'd like a charming companion to travel with also.
I'd also like to be able to care for more animals that need to be rescued and someone to help me to do that so I can get away to travel.
I keep hoping.

hey,
I wish I could have a satisfying career and make enough money to see the whole world before I die. I have read lots of books on far away places and have a strong desire to see them all in person. However, i would want a good wonderful companion preferably my future husband.
Yes, I want to be also known as a person who was a distinguished character in her own fields. I want to left my mark in history as a life well lived.
I want to earn a good deal of money so that I can do whatever I want with no financial restraints at all.

That's a very good aspiration to have in life- I have always been an animal lover, too and dreamed about rescuing and caring for as many animals as I could.
At the momment, I'm not entirely sure about what I want in life. I love to write, and I'm interesting in film making. I think I want to use that interest to make meaningful movies that will get people to see how materialistic and unnatural we are, and how we are seriously destroying nature.

Film making is very fulfilling. I know few people in the industry. It is not easy, lots of competition, but people are happy at work.

LOL--I think the question should be what don't I want as I want everything. I still desire success in life via my photography and writing...big time! And yes, would like fame and fortune and to live a life in luxury as I've always dreamed of. I too wouldn't mind a animal sanctuary...it's not an easy life though judging from the pet rescuers I know..it can be draining, nerve wracking, demanding, and sometimes depressing since one wants to help and rescue all the unwanted and neglected pets/animals...it's also very expensive. One pet rescuer I know spends thousands of dollars a month just for food...that excludes vet care costs--so an idea of a sanctuary one would really have the financial means to do so as one wouldn't always count on donations

yes, name it...photography is very fulfilling and I will never give up taking good pictures..
as animal sanctuary, I would open one if I would have big chunk of money to start...I know it can be very costly.

Hello pola,
I want to make the sufferings of people especially the poor people less. I know its hard to accomplish. But not to start something can't be a solution for something that is not yet done. I don't believe in analyzing things sitting on my couch. I believe in action. Rapid and effective execution. And I don't propose a charity as a solution for this problem I am talking about. I am seeking for a more permanent solution for it. If you have any suggestion in mind please let me know.
God bless you all

Hi,
I do teach people. I also have a blog where I write for free. I have also distributed a few articles to help students. But I wonder how many people I can reach with this individual effort. I have often tried to teach people for free but that seem to hurt their ego. So I take minimum amount possible from them. I try in my own way but I am not yet satisfied. I wish to do more.
Thanks for the comment pola
Take care

I sure hope your wish comes true and you can do it. Maybe some dog food company could help you with this? Have you knocked on some doors to ask?
As for me, I'll be happy to remain healthy. Im so afraid of hospitals, doctors and all that goes with it, that my wish is to live to an old age and be healthy and die in my sleep. In the meantime, I try to do as best I can and help anyone who needs my help and take good care of my fur baby.

What a good discussion, polachicago.
I don't know precisely what it is I want at the moment. And I am perfectly aware of how it has me a bit out of balance in my life. How can one achieve obtain what they want when they don't KNOW what they want .... I get it. Working on it!
I admire your desire and wish you the best with it.

I had alot of family in the San Juan area but most have passed away now. My boyfriend and his family live in Cabo Rojo area, which is on the west side of PR. I was there in May of last year and it was beautiful. When I was about 19 I was in the San Juan area visiting family but that was many years ago.

OoOOhhh. I like what you want. Hehehe.. I have always dreamed that I would become a vet and put up my own animal sanctuary, and have like a hundred dogs or something. Hehehe. I wish I had the money to do it and actually keep it up.. But it's a hard life, and I can only feed 2 dogs. LOL. Though it's one of my greatest dream. Apart from that, I would like to build my own library. I mean, its mine but it's going to be open to the public and it would have all the great books in the world, and not just the classics but also those that are in the best seller list... Ahhh. That would be really great.

Own library, maybe people will still read book in the future in the form of paper, but maybe in electronic form only...

Well, that's also the reason why I want to build a library, cause I don't really like the idea that paper books would soon be extinct... I just can't accept that.

I have no specific answer for this question. Want is the driving force of life. Ultimate want is unknown to me. I am puzzle what am I searching for. It is right I am searching and life will be ended in searching but Never penetrate what am I searching for.
