tell me which brand i buy

i have got 500 dollars and i want to buy a laptop.
but i am confused which brand i should buy, does anybody has a good idea?

I like dell laptops personally. what I have right now is a toshiba, and I like that as well, but my dell lasted a long time and was really a good laptop.

Macs are the best but are not something I would be willing to spend all that money on until more programs become compatible to be able to use on it.

for 500 dollars?may be you should check some pc on hp or dell ones!!normally these 2 brands have laptops for all prices and configurations i think you can find one suitable for you there!!

I prefer Hewlett Pachard. I like their customer service and tech support. I had issues with mine after it was out of warranty and all i had to do is buy the extended warranty that they offered and i was back in business after they fixed and kept my files (which is rare). Always back up your stuff regularly. You can build your own so it all depends what you want or need. I would also purchase a good virus protection. I like .CA software and they have a good guarantee if something goes wrong. Keep receipts and original boxes. Good luck.
