Eating Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Why? because all your stored energy will be use later for work, school and other daily activities. I eat a heavy breakfast as you can see I'm going to school every morning and we don't usually have a break til lunch and it feels so empty if I only eat a light breakfast. I couldn't think straight during classes and I will surely lost my concentration because I am hungry. That is how I eat my breakfast but how about you? Do you like it heavy or do you like to have light breakfast? ^^

Hi Nykel88,
It is true, Breakfast is important as it provides energy for us to run the daily activity. However, I use to skip my breakfast. I don't have the habit to eat breakfast. So what I do is I normally will have my lunch rather early and it is a heavy lunch too. This is a bad habit.

I know that the most important meal is bfast but I usually skip it sometimes because I am in a hurry and sometimes because I wake up so late.

I try to have fruit and water at breakfast, and some sort of complex carbohydrate like oats. I find the fruit and water to be refreshing and hydrating, and the oats to be very filling and keep me full all the way to lunch time. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so when I'm on vacation or if it's a holiday, I usually opt for a large breakfast or brunch option and have all the good stuff like pancakes and eggs!

and also there is a fact that .. if you dont have breakfast ,it leads to reduce the effectiveness of brain.

I do always have breakfast every day. I think my portions is heavy breakfast category. I always eat 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Having breakfast give me more energy to do my activity. I have to go to work and my lunch time is 12.00pm. I can't wait for lunch if I haven't breakfast.

it depends on my appetite every after i wake up but most of the time,i eat a heavy breakfast.

Whilst I know we are supposed to eat a proper breakfast I just can't do it and often go with out. This is partly due to my days where I use to have to be up at 4 in the morning to start the early shift and just couldn't eat at that time. Instead I would wait till about 7 or 8 and then have breakfast. That conditioning has carried on now and even when I wake up at 7 or 8 I can't eat breakfast for a few hours.

Just a light breakfast if I'm at home as I could eat snacks anytime I feel hungry but when am going out of the house for work or whatever, I must have a heavy breakfast. So I'm prepared for lunch as my next dining. Otherwise I have to eat my snacks before eating lunch.

I eat breakfast. That is the only meal I eat for the whole day. I don't think I would be able to last a day without eating breakfast. I skip meals but not breakfast. I am a morning person and I usually eat after I finish my coffee. I prefer heavy breakfast because that's the only meal I eat in a day, enough to have energy til bed time..

I used to eat really heavy breakfast back when I still wake up early to be able to cook one, hehehe, But now, I'm too lazy to wake up early, so I just fix myself some sandwich, and after that at around 10am I eat some cookies or some granola bar again, because if I wait until lunch I would be incredibly hungry. Hehehe.

I agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it is a starter. But I don't have my breakfast daily. I can manage myself till lunch. At lunch I have heavy meals.

Hi , Yes Breakfast is the most important meal , I agree with you. Its not me only its the fact which every one us should know and incase we are ignoring the breakfast, must plan to eat in the morning before stating for work. In the morning all of us are in hurry and think having breakfast is time consuming. We must take out time for eating. Should take it seriously.
Yaa I eat heavy breakfast.

Hi! yes, the breakfast is the most important meal during the whole day, and here in my country there is a proverb, but I think it is a Chinese or a Japanese one, and it says- " the breakfast eat by your own, the lunch share with your friend and the supper give to your enemy", because the supper is the most unhealthy meal during the day. Have you heard that proverb too?

I totally agree. But this does not mean you have to eat heavy in breakfast. The ones that gets u fat are the snacks which are mostly refined foods. Our brain also needs glucose in order to function that's why its good to eat breakfast. Even without eating lunch will still be fine as long as you have your breakfast. I eat my breakfast and sometimes just go to bed at lunch due to tiredness at work
