Do you have good neighbors?

We have some great neighbors. The man across the street often comes over with his snow blower in the winter and clears our sidewalks so my husband doesn't have to do it when he gets home from work. Most of our other neighbors are just as generous. We are always willing to help all of them out, as well.

of course I do. almost all my neighbors are good people. I live in Indonesia and you know, Indonesian are famous with their friendly attitude..LOL..so far I don't have any serious problems with them..thank God..

I have moved to a new area just four years ago. I used to live in an area where everybody knows everybody. I lived for 30 years in the same street. We used to help each other and I had a good friendly family as neighbours. Now that I have moved in a nother area I must admit that I dont't know whom my neighbours are. I just nod to them when I meet them in the street but that is it.

I've lived in a lot of places and good neighbors are hard to come by. When you get somebody that you can talk with between the slats then its always a good thing. I've lived in apartments, condos and had a few houses. I guess it depends on our approach to those who we live next door to, not just who lives next door to us.

I really only know a few of my neighbors but they seem nice and very helpful. I am disabled and if there is a big snow or flood or something one of them always calls me to see if I am okay. The one in the house in front of mine is the one I know the best. If I have a minor problem (the walk and the mailbox needed repaired) her or her husband will fix it for me. I live in a suburb and the homes are very far apart, that is why I don't know to many of them.

I think our neighbors are okay. We don't help and do errands for each other, but at least they're not nosy. They often gossip which I just ignore, but then again they don't forget to tell us when there is something suspicious or alarming going on in the neighborhood for us to be aware and careful. I don't even know their complete names, I know all of them by faces. We just nod or smile when bumping into each other.

Yes Pose I do here A few times I had to be taken to Hospital and my Neighbour who is also the Landlords Daughter took me and stayed with me, while my Upstairs Neighbour would keep an eye on Gissi for me In my previous Home I did not have good Neighbours as such all they cared about is gossip and if you did not give them a reason for anything to gossip about they would make something up But here yes they have been great

Yes, I have wonderful neighbors and they are always willing to offer a helping hand. I consider myself very lucky.

We live in the country. We pretty much keep to ourselves but the neighbor that is closest to us is always drunk and shooting at her kids and such. We just ignore it because we don't want to get involved at all.

We have a whole block of good to excellent neighbors. The "good" neighbors would probably be classified as "excellent" neighbors if we knew them better. There are no "bad" neighbors on this street.

I dont get to intereact with my neighbours on a regular basis because of work committments,usually when I am out she is in and vive versa.However we do give an eye out for each others property and we do have a chat occasionally andwe share with each other form time to time .All in all she is good neighbour and we get along well

yes I hapen to move to a rural area and I found that living in the country side is such a beauty to behold. My Neighbours are so friendly. In the morning they will call to see if everything is ok. Last week I went home late and we are have a water shortage and my neighbour was at home when the men came to the community to inform the residents that they should full up there tanks because the water was going away for one day to repair a defective pump. When I got home my neighbour full all the containers they could fine in my home with water that was so nice. At time I feel like they are my own family. There is still good people living in the world. It is bad when you and your neighbour can not get along because of some foolishness. I will agreed that some neighbour can be a pain but having good neighbours is really kool

I used to have good neighbors but sadly they moved away. I like in a condo so it's pretty easy to hear through the walls. We have new neighbors who are so crabby. They are loud and scream at each-other all the time! They bang on the walls when I'm blow drying my hair or vacuuming! I don't know what to do about it. I can't not do those things. They are crabby old people, nothing against old people either I love them, but these two just get on my last nerve!

I also have a very loud neighbor. They always have this band and its very disturbing. I had to place an earphone for me to get asleep. Bless those guys!

I only have a few neighbors and really they are far enough away that they couldnt possibly bother me unless they came over to my house and started harrassing me or someting. That wouldnt happen everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. My parents actually live right across the street from me. I like it most times but sometimes haha it is to close for comfort. I live in the house they own. My husband and I paid the bills but didnt have to pay rent. Recently my husband and I split up so its just the kids and me. It makes it nice now the majority of the time with my parents living across the street.

our neighbors are not good you luky that you have good neighbor. I will like to tell about our neighbors, our neighbors are very jealous. Once we had a great fight. Since from that we have stoped taughing with each other. Not all neighbor are same some are of good nature, some help us whenever we need something. But major of them come to us when they need something. Hence i dont like our neighbor

Yes, I do. My neighborhood has the feel of a 50's style neiggborhood that you talk to them and know their names etc. We even have had neighborhood block parties in the past for Christmas and new years. I know most of them by name, some I talk more than others. Those with children.. most of them I invite them to my kids bday parties.

hi pose.. 30 years.. so nice to hear... i wish it continues for many more years... yeah i do ve good neighbours and the aunt who lives next door is very kind and helping... well we often have get together 2 weeks once and enjoy ourselves...

We have lovely neighbours. On one side is a widow with 2 grown up daughters and her son lives nearby and they visit with their children, my children have know theirs all their lives. We have an old lady of 100 on the other side. She has slowed down a lot in the last 2 or 3 years but always was like a grandmother to my children. Her own daughter is rather strange however so we don't see so much of her these days. We also have neighbours who are not next door but still live in our road who we know quite well. One lives right up the other end, he taught my husband to weld and is very friendly, there are a few couples who's children are grown up and left home that we exchange good morning with and one family with quite small children who are very friendly. We are very lucky like that. When I was about 8 years old, we lived in a flat(apartment block) where everyone knew everyone. All the children played together outside. Before that I lived in a shared house and we played in the street but mostly then we only knew our immediate neighbours.
