how blogs get updated in mylot

i am too much confused about it dear. i have added one blog to mylot. it has been approved in mylot. i see that many people's blog get updated and a lot of people comment and subscribe. i don't know how my blog will be updated like other people's blog. i would also like to get my blog commented. please help me step wise step to do so.
