Which dogs do you think are stronger health- wise or by immunity to sickness & diseases? The pedigreed or the mixed breed or the stray ones; I've had all categories as pets but I found that the strays were the hardiest and they also live longer. What about you dog- lovers there, what do you feel?

Not really sure about the best immunity to sickness but, I do know that most dogs, not matter what breed usually live between 10 to 13 years. Depending on the types of foods you feed your dog and whether you are keeping it inside or outside can be a big help to it in preventing sicknesses and diseases. Just take good care of it and your dog should live a long and healthy life.

I was asking as all the pet-dogs I had were given similar food/diet, exercise etc - also they were not kept inside the house for long time but were taken to the park just across from our home almost 3-4 times a day and used to spend a good time there running about and also playing with their other doggie friends.

Even if the dog is a good breed, it can have health issues that "run in the family" just like a human can. If the mother or father of the dog has a history of health related problems, that can also develop in the pup later in life.

every breed have their own health problem,, but Small dog live longer than large dog,, if you want your dog is healthy just feed them their natural food and don't make them stress and pray to the lord for not taking their life yet,, so it will live longer
