Hi ksmita,
I can honestly say that NO- I never like my name as a kid. When you younger kids can be cruel at times and my "real" first name is Venus and as you can imagine- it does not rhyme with anything good.....lol.
Now that I have gotten older I have grown to appreciate being names after the goddess of love from greek mythology. Its a big name to live up too..lol

Hello ksmita. I think you are right in the fact that many have fake names for security reasons. I mean online. But in the real life you have to deal with your parents idea for your name. My name is Libna and I love it. As you say, I think it goes with me perfectly. Libna is a place in Israel and its mentioned some times in the Bible, but still almost every people I meet ask me something about my name and claim they've never heard it before. It means white, pure, clean... That goes with my skin color and me being a very transparent person.
On the other hand, my second name I don't like at all. It is....
Well it's Madai, its the name of a male person also in the Bible. I'm a woman, so that's the main reason I don't like it. It means ornament, like I'm just a "thing in exposition" or what?? That doesn't go with me. Besades, in the Bible this person is not in the "chosen line". The only cool thing is where people from middle east are supposed to come from, I think persians and those cultures.
Well, I think I wrote a lot!! So.. what's your name, do you like it??

i like my name ~ its a name of a flower and i love flowers. Did not give me a hard time too in my first writings bec it consist only of 4 letters. Very easy to remember. It matches to my personality as well. Soft, sweet, lovely, feminine, flowers can bring smile to people who rcv it, which i'd like to make my friends smile when i'm with them.
